Hi,

Once again, I cannot play Elite Dangerous anymore, because of this weird error message, I get every few months. This is just annoying.

I play Elite Dangerous on Geforce Now and I successfully linked the frontier account to steam.
This worked before for weeks and now suddenly it stopped working again.

When I try to login with my correct credentials it just throws the standard "Please purchase/redeem" error message at me, but I have bought the game on Steam and my account is already linkedin.

Do you know about anything else I can do? When I click on "Link Account" instead of "Login", a browser open and I can successfully login there, but when I click through it, I see the message "Step 3 of 3: Unauthorized. If you closed the Elite Dangerous launcher, please open it again" (The launcher is open).

Hey all.

There were some authentication issues through Steam yesterday that should now be resolved. Sorry about that!

If you ever get prompted to manually sign in when you wouldn't normally, try a restart of your Steam client. Ultimately though, it'll likely be an outage between ourselves and Steam and not something you can brute force. Always avoid drastic actions like reinstalling, and either wait it out or drop us a line in support to find out what's up : )
