[2022] Pc version laggy but Vr smooth?

I just did the console transfer I deleted my pc save and now that I have all my progress on pc I loaded up and played in vr for a while. I have oddesy as well and I did the intro section ground fight crap and then got taken back to a station and loaded in I flew around for a min everything's smooth and pretty. I turned vr off and wanted to see what it looked like in 4k and so I turned it back on in pc mode and it's like it's doing 5fps everything loads but it's soooo slow. Anyone have any idea what's going on? I have a i5 12600k with a 3080 12gb and 32gb of ram....
