[2022] Cannot enter into or transfer ship once ground mission failed and sent to detention facility - Workaround

Tracker has already been submitted by someone else. This is a workaround for it.

As reported on tracker - When I got transported to a detention facility after turning myself in, I went to the ship terminal to transfer my krait phantom to my location. When I confirmed the transfer, I got kicked out of the ship management screen, and the transfer didn't go through. I tried the same thing when I got to my.

For me - Exactly the same issue. I cannot enter into my ship from Iron claw facility after failing a ground mission as game crashes each and every time. Takes me back to on foot in the hangar. Keeps crashing every time I try to enter the ship.

I taxi to home system and get another ship delivered. Cannot transfer the original ship (Krait Phantom) to my carrier or to a station.

Workaround is to go into Horizons and get the ship transferred to my carrier that way. Won't let me do it in Odyssey.
