I play on PC sometimes and I'm not sure if it's the game, or the controller I'm using, but when i start up Elite the controller doesn't work at all until I set the keybindings, which I have to do every singl time, and even then my ship is jerking around in space out of control until i unplug the controller, is it a game problem or not?
