[2023] Blank Screen on launch

I took a break from ED for about 6 month, and have come back to it on PC. Now when I try and launch the game (I think there has been a new update as the launch creen looks different to when I last played) the screen goes blank, and nothing will load. I have looked everywhere for a solution to this, and can not find anything. Has this happened to anyone? Is there a simple fix? Firewalls are all OK, files are all up to date also.
