[2022] Multi-crew and wing not working

For the past few days, one of my friends has been having trouble trying to play on multi-crew together. Whenever he tries to invite me he gets a black adder connection error and whenever I invite him he gets an error. We tried doing a wing together and we were able to invite each other, we weren't able to see each other. We were able to see each other's signals but not our physical ships. We tried doing this on both horizons and odyssey with no luck. This started happening shortly after the latest update. Both multi-crew and wing work just fine when I do it with my other friends so it's just him who has problems. He has tried just about everything short of making a new account and neither of us knows what the issue is or how to fix it.
