So as we move through day 19 of being unable to play odyssey, I was wondering if anyone has had any luck resolving the issue of the game crashing when entering the main menu.
There has been zero communication from frontier to any of the tickets posted so I am turning to reddit to see if anyone has had any luck with it.
Before going any further, I have tried all suggestions by frontier from reinstalling the game, drivers, etc.
Computer is AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor, rtx 3060 32g ram
The issue seems to be an account issue and not related to my computer. I logged in on my cousins computer who has no issue logging in to his account but on my account it crashes and his account logs in on my computer.
I know it’s a long shot asking here but with zero feedback or coms from frontier (who state they get in touch within 4 days to tickets) I am clutching at straws now.
It’s a simple as stated above. Load game, once the main menu loads, it crashes with in 5 seconds. Horizon will load but I play with my 12 year old son, I pilot with the joystick on one screen and he does all ground mission with mouse and key board in the other screen. He copilots when flying, helping with systems, shields, weapons, system maps, navigating etc.
We can play horizon but we both prefer odyssey and feel that the it is a superior product than horizons (sorry to anyone who feels otherwise) we haven’t played since out of pure frustration with the game and the developers who have forced an update with such game breaking bugs.
If anyone has any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.
