[2023] Encountering various issues: Crashing when approaching Thargoid Spires on planet, Comms issues.

Hello there,

I've tried googling this but no joy. I am experiecning two issues at the moment. I will seperate both:

1) I crash when approaching Thargoid Spries on a planet. I am in my friends ship and they are experiencing no issues, flying around and telling me what they are doing...while all I see is the spire, stuck and frozen on my screen. Then after 5-10 mins I crash to main menu with the error message: Orange Sidewinder. We tried again and same thing.

2) I cant use voice/comms. I can hear my friend but mine isnt working. I've changed the settings under Ship - Misc - Comms/voice and changed it all to toggle. I can see in my comms menu the toggle is working but no one can hear me. My mic isnt mute, Windows says my mic works, Windows has my mic set up for Elite dangerous. I also tried changing the controls to a new button, even changed from push to to talk, to hold, to toggle. Every thing is on Toggle at the moment: Button Mode = Toggle, Mute button mode = Toggle. Microphone state mode (CGQ) = Toggle. I dont know whats wrong. For the record: I can hear him. He can see I am transmitting but cant hear me.
