[2022] anyone else having problems getting Elite Dangerous to launch?

I just reinstalled Elite two days ago, and for some reason I cannot get the game to launch. I press play I hear the game's audio for a spit second some audio pops and crash straight back to desktop. This happens with Odyssey and Horizons. I tried validating the game's files both with Steam and Elite's launcher. No issues we're detected. Everytime it crashes I get an error reporter pop up. I've sent reports ever time I've made an attempt to play. I also made a ticket, but haven't heard from F-Dev. Is anyone else experiencing problems like this? Is there anything I can do to fix the issue?

I'm running a gtx 1080, i7 8700k CPU, and 16 gigs of ram. The game's installed on an SSD.
