[2023] ED Slow?

Returning after long-ish hiatus. I noticed migration between screens e.g. foot to SRV, galaxy map, boarding apex, slow wake, high wake, etc, took its sweet time (sometimes up to 5 mins). I also saw "Transaction Server" timeout (?) error a couple of times.

Noticed it's kinda the same with Horizon. Is this normal? or my pc underspecced? How can I improve this?
Nvdia GTX 1070, i7-8750H 16GB
I'm in Australia btw, if that makes any difference.
