[2022] Trying to test elite on PC but started out as an Xbox player and having an issue with the launcher

So as a starter I created my frontier account after purchasing the game for the first time on Xbox and have now purchased it on PC and am trying to get it set up but whenever I try launching into the frontier launcher it tells me to purchase the game. I'm not sure how I can prove I own the game and I have no idea how I could fix it and was wondering if anybody else is in the same boat as me.

Any help would be appreciated

Hi there,

If you bought via Steam, it sounds like your account hasn't been appropriately linked up! Please go onto our guide on this here:

And you should be able to follow the "Steam" section. If it doesn't work or you're having difficulties, at the bottom of the page of that link, there should be a "submit request" button, press that and create a ticket for us. :)
