[2023] [ODYSSEY] Can't use Long Distance Apex Shuttle

I have recently started playing Elite Dangerous, and came across an issue while playing with a friend. I tried to travel to my friend's system using Apex Shuttles, Long Distance, but couldn't get it to work. I am able to select a system, and them press the "Select Drop Point" button, but when I do, it returns back to the previous screen, and I am unable to select another system, or see any other information involving said system for that matter.

The following images show what I see through the process.

First, I open up the menu via the Long Distance travel dialogue option, and reach this screen

I'm able to select a system, Tata, in this case, and see the UI, and the \"Select Drop Point\" button

However, whenever I select it, I am returned here, and nothing changes/works in the Galaxy map until I exit the area, and reselect the dialogue option.

If anyone knows what may be causing this, or if I may be doing something wrong, please let me know. I'm still getting the hang of the flight system, trying to get my gamepad to work, so thhe Apex Shuttle would be a massive convenience to me, should I get it to work.
