[2023] how to adjust vr render scale? (odyssey) (epic games)

Got the game from epic games because it was on sale.

I can load into vr only from epic games. When I press the menu or oculus buttons on the controllers nothing happens.

I try launching though steam vr and the launcher says my account is not valid even when its the same account linked to the epic games.

i want to push my quest 2 because I have a 4090 and not maxing it out is sad.
