[2022] Elite Dangerous Horizons crashes on startup (with Odyssey installed) in VR.

Already made a post about this on Frontier's Elite Dangerous forums but got no response.

There's only two options when starting the game through steam. Start through steamVR or not. I only play Elite in VR, so I launch through steamVR. The game launches in Odyssey by default and bypasses the game launcher without asking me if I want to launch in Horizons. This is already pretty questionable. If I close the game, I gain access to the launcher options. If I select Horizons, the game tries to launch and then promptly crashes. Every time. I'll include a screenshot of the crash screen. This issue never occurred until I recently installed Odyssey.
I've tried verifying the integrity of my game files through steam. I tried it twice. Both times, steam detected no issues.
I'm out of ideas. Please let me know if anyone has a fix.
Within the crash report: "Exception Information: The thread tried to read from or write to a virtual address for which it does not have the appropriate access."
I wonder if it might be an error with the EDHM mod that I recently uninstalled.
