[2023] Not being able to play the game

So, i bought the game on Steam and i can't seem to get it to start.
Whenever i try to launch the game, it prompts me to update the game (screenshot: https://i.gyazo.com/5f52dd721ff4db960e195162a4b2313c.png

). I've done what they ask me to do, even reinstalled two times.
I started to look in the local files and launched it through the EDLaunch.exe, which now gets me to the launcher.
In the launcher i log in to my account, but then it just tells me to buy the game again. So i go to my account page at Frontier Store and it says i can't use my CD-key because it has apparently been used previously.

Checked a whole bunch of different posts on different forums and videos, but non of the fixes help me.
Has anyone had a similar experience? If so, how did you fix it?
