Captain Bonkers, leader of the Pirate Guild, pays us a visit and brags that he found a yet unknown island of giant proportions, filled with precious treasures. He offers some mysterious pearls he found there, that are said to bring prosperity to whoever possesses them. While our Mentor is a bit skeptical of buying stuff whose origin is unknown, our Trader is very fascinated and convinces everyone to accept the offer.
Just when Captain Bonkers has left, a horde of dragon-riding Orcs attacks the town, including an angry Orc warlady. It turns out that Captain Bonkers stole the pearls from the warlady of the Orc tribe that lives there - and they followed his traces all the way to your town.
Starting from August 7 you will be able to embark on this new adventure!
The Settlement
Prosperity is a new requirement for your city's development (next to Culture). It is provided by the Main Hall, Barracks, Residences, and Workshops. From now on you will need prosperity to construct and upgrade Settlement Buildings. Community Work is a new decaying Resource too in this chapter. There will be a switchable production option in the Residences and instead of paying taxes, your people can also offer time to serve the community. There will be a new Effect, Prosperity Bonus which replaces the Settlement Production Boost of the Portals and boosts Settlement Resources based on the amount of required Prosperity (instead of on the level of the Portal).
The settlement itself will also present a new difficulty in the form of a complex manufacturing chain that requires careful management of numerous resources.
Of course, the new chapter will bring new city map expansions, upgrades and units. At the end of Chapter 21, you will be able to unlock 2 brand new Ancient Wonders:
Le Pré's Antique Shop (3x5)
Boosted Ascended Goods when collecting Community Work
Seeds
Vallorian School of Sorcery (8x3)
Vallorian Guards
Cauldron Ingredients Cost Reduction
Academy Creation Time Reduction
