Another Pilgrimage is about to start and Zaphiel is already prepared to venture into this new journey. As a good friend, you are invited to take part again in this adventure and bring with you your most prominent apprentices. Zaphiel is very satisfied that the incident with the open crevasses was solved and no further incidents were reported in the Manor. Weirdly enough, rumors tell that some Sorcerers were seen leaving the Manor during the last months claiming to be starting their own pilgrimage. Among the reports, one fact draws attention: all the Sorcerers stated that they had to leave in search for the "Truth that lies Beneath".
The Pilgrimage starts like the last one. All the apprentices are very excited to explore the new cities and discover what sort of knowledge lies within the limits of the Pilgrim`s Manor. During one of the many stops, as the Pilgrims recover from the long trip, a cold gust of wind invades the camp. Together with it, there is an overall sense of unease among all the sleeping apprentices. Suddenly, the mentor Zaphiel leaves his tents with glimmering blue eyes, sending back all the students to their beds.
The next morning the caravan is informed that the next stop needs to be changed and Zaphiel leads the group towards the closest mountain range. As the group climbs towards the peak, you start to hear murmurs in an ancient language. Zaphiel tells the group to halt and passes the leadership to Melissa. He climbs alone to the top of the hills, only to be surprised by an unexpected sight: a village was built in the middle of the forest and some of his old friends from the Manor are camping there. As he investigates, he understands where the power he felt is coming from. A huge crevasse lies open in the middle of the camp, and above, floating mid-air, the ruins of an ancient castle shine in an eerie blue light. Confused and surprised he returns to the group and decides to move on with the pilgrimage.
In his mind many unsettling questions arise. How could he not feel that crevasse? What is keeping it open? Were does that energy come from? How should he rescue his old friends without putting all the apprentices in peril?
For now, the priority is to take the apprentices to a safe place. After that, he will discuss with Melissa and Tandriel the reasons behind all these events.
Dear Humans and Elves,
From January 18th to February 9th, you should do everything in your power to help Zaphiel gather as much Sorcerers' Knowledge as possible. Of course, there is not just one way to gather this knowledge. Just for the experience of visiting your town on a daily basis, you will be rewarded with some knowledge every day already, and you'll even gain knowledge by investigating random magical appearances in your city's outskirts. You can also fulfill the special event quests from Zaphiel, which let you reach event quest milestones, containing even more Sorcerer's Knowledge.
As you reach the various waypoints on your way back home, you will find many treasures therein. Each time one of your sorcerers has traveled great distances to complete their journey, you will also be rewarded with one of many special Grand Prizes. By progressing through the event, you will be able to find all the buildings from this year's new building set:
This event will use the same mechanics as last year's Sorcerers' event and will contain the Leagues system as well as the Royal Prize Pass. Among the rewards (including some awesome new buildings), you will also be able to acquire a new spell that helps you to revive your troops in the Battle Results screen.
The questline consists of a story section and additional episodic quests, which start as soon as the story is completed. This means that you will be able to finish the first series of quests right away, while later quests have new additions released on a daily basis, allowing you to continue to play 1 additional event quest on each new event day. Fulfilling the event quests will also grant you Milestone Rewards at certain points along the way.

We hope you'll enjoy the new Sorcerer's Event, and as always, we're curious to hear your feedback in our discussion thread!
Kind regards,
