I'm having problems connecting to For Honor, my shield does not appear on the start screen

Please, avoid this non-sense thread asking about non-sense questions. You only have to check the forum to see that we are here and we are working hard in the game. We are sorry if we cannot work as fast as you would like but we have not stopped working since the beta of the game.

We also would really appreciate if you avoid the lucubrations without a basement about what we are doing because sometimes, the most of them, they are really a big harassment.

Thanks for the question Laurelin, as we are all volunteers our schedules are generally flexible. So yes to some degree it's important to make sure there is always one of us around, to assist you all♥ What's more as we are all scattered around the planet, we all have different hours to be available, so in reality we really don't have an excess of Moderators for the needs of the Forum. Hope this makes it a little clearer for you. Thanks again for the question!

Just to butt in whilst im still waiting for the Smallest Room... whilst we like to be present in the background, we generally like to leave you guys to your own devices. But from a personal point of view, as a daily player, I like to be in here to read all your bits and bobs! You all raise some extremely interesting points/ideas/debates so basically I'm just nosey :D

But yes, you probably all know that some Moderators simultaneously work both the Forum and Support, but there is always something happening that keeps us occupied in the background... :)

I am sorry to hear that you have been experiencing connectivity issues on For Honor. I have just looked into it from my end, and I can confirm that as of 12:52pm BST on the 3rd of April, all of our For Honor servers and services are running as intended. Therefore I would recommend you run through our connectivity troubleshooting in this article and ensure you have completed all the steps. These steps can help rule out many of the common causes for connectivity-related issues. 

If you still encounter issues after going through those steps, could you please let me know some more information?:

  1. What platform are you playing on?
  2. Do you receive any error codes, if so what does the code say?


Should you have further questions regarding any of those steps in the article above, or regarding any other issue, please do not hesitate to let me know.

Hey there @gfoxgames, thank you for taking the time to get back to me and for sharing that additional information. I am starting to think that this might not actually be connectivity-related. To help me get a better understanding of the problem you are facing, could you please provide a short video showing this in action? You could directly upload the clip to an online video-sharing platform like Twitter or YouTube. Alternatively, if you would prefer, you could transfer the video to a PC using a flash drive and then send it to us another way, such as through a file-sharing site. 

I also want to ask, have you gone through the connectivity troubleshooting article I shared in my last post? Although the issue might not be connectivity-related, it is still important that we rule this out as a potential factor.

If you have any questions or run into any other issues, please do not hesitate to let me know.
