[2020] My (Friends)Account has been deleted.

I'm gonna be explaining this through the eyes of my friend, who had this issue.

I bought EFT shortly after the beta came out. I played it for a bit and reached "endgame" (if there really even is one) and decided to let it sit on the back-burner for a while. I didn't launch the game for somewhere around 8-12 months. Recently, I had a friend purchase the game and decided enough time had passed since I had played. I went to log into my account and saw that it had been deleted. I reached out to support but i've only been able to find scenario specific Q&A's that do not apply to me. My entire EFT has been plucked out of thin air and I have no proof it ever even existed.

• What can I do to regain my copy?
• Do I need to repurchase the game? I have heard they have limited beta key copies but even if that is true, are they allowed to delete my account without warning?
• Is that in the ToS?
