  • I would go with an Intel CPU because EFT generally performs better on an Intel build. It's still an upgrade though. Your pricing of this product is off though. You can get the same AMD CPU with $150 on Amazon right now. Might even find a cheaper one.
  • I didn't research this but maybe you might not need to do a motherboard change. Look into that to save some money. If your hardware works on the same motherboard, stick with the old one.
  • The SSD upgrade is a huge deal changer. That's a must go. I personally like having an M.2 drive though. A smaller in storage size to afford it but still, I prefer it. You can get this same SSD you have for $138 on Amazon or Newegg. Slap on that HDD on your new PC too by the way (from your old PC) for storage space.
  • The GPU is definitely an upgrade. If that's the most you can afford, it's a good choice. Shop around for brands though since some might be cheaper than ASUS and their difference in performance is minor in my opinion. I always save up and go for the TI's though.
  • For case, see if you can fit stuff in your old case and use that cash on CPU. You might not need a new one. If you do get a new one, I personally always go with full towers for future upgrades and cooling. Not to mention, ease of cleaning and building. You can find towers for cheaper or around that price.
  • I also think you can save on the power supply by keeping the old one. You would have to look into this but all you need is 344W and you already have 550W supply unit that has enough room for powering up your system. You do not need a new one. That's $166 that can go into a new better Intel CPU again.

On second look, the price difference might be due to you being in Australia. I am not fully aware of the difference but I always recommend looking into Newegg and Amazon deals. That's where I get most of my parts. Get yourself an amazon prime and save on all the shipping as well.

Have fun with the new rig!

I just remember, invest in a good cooling unit. I do not like the ones that come with the CPU if any. They are usually not the best.
