I just tried to use my hotmail.com.au and it won’t use it. Is there a reason Hotmail accounts aren’t recognised because I don’t really want to create a new email account for one game.
We have blocked the ability to register for some domains, because there are problems with receiving our letters at these addresses for reasons beyond our control.
I was going to purchase this game yesterday but my inability to register with my hotmail domain gave me pause. I know I am one potential customer but this is taking money directly out of your pockets.
I understand whitelisting the no-reply and have already done so but I guess that is irrelevant if I cant sign up to begin with.

I'm having this issue with an outlook domain on a verification email. If this email block is recent, it's most likely the cause because I haven't had this issue in the past. On December 23rd I received a verification email but now it doesn't seem to send.

My issue is, even before purchasing the game, I can not register with Battlestate Games (on the website) using my hotmail domain. I believe it only accepts Gmail, and possibly a Yahoo domain.
EDIT: I think I understand what you are saying. You made that change to protect us. In the future, you want to make sure we receive important emails.
My response is : I am an adult. Ill be able to get your emails. I know how to white list your 'no-reply' email and any future correspondence from Battlestate.

This is plain dumb, use a proper email service. You just lost many customers by doing this.
Personally, my opinion is that this is the right decision. Indeed, in the future, you are likely to face a problem and you will have to change the email address associated with your account. So why unnecessary problems if you can immediately register an account for another email?)

Hi Sova, there is a ton of tips and techniques to prevent your emails from being considered as spam. It is weird to blacklist one of the key email providers. I will not create a new email address just for this game. I hope you can find a solution.

Might I recommend the devs to use mail-tester . com? There are many things you can try to improve your email's chances of reaching someone's mailbox. This is the first time I've heard of a company outright disabling the use of certain domains

As long as you've got DMARC/DKIM/SPF set up correctly, there's no reason Outlook/Hotmail would reject your emails.

pois é em 2016 eu criei uma conta com o hotmail, e como outros dizem até 1 mês atrás conseguiam fazer isso.. o jogo parece bom mas no meu pais ele custa 5x o preço que vocês cobram.. o jogo não tem na steam, e eu não posso criar meu email... desculpa mas assim não dá.. só lembrando que todas as outras empresas conseguem fazer você criar uma conta com hotmail/outlook por que vocês não conseguem?

I have an account with an hotmail.com email address, however my account is a few years old now. Is this a recent issue as I have never had any problems with email from EFT? I ask as a friend of mine is attempting to purchase the game. I will however advise him that Hotmail accounts are having issues and have been disabled.
Could you confirm that Google accounts are still ok before I ask my friend to create one please?
I can appreciate that you did not create this issue and are having to deal with the fallout, so thank you for trying to provide as much info as possible given the situation.
