Right now the time to reload your main weapon is as fast as pulling out your pistol, maybe even faster, that's why people, even full gears don't run pistols because it's not worth it. Pistol animations are just way too slow right now.

EDIT: I think the Double R reload for pistols should be reworked, it should be that while you drop the mag you are reaching for an another one. Right now the character is waiting for the mag to drop to the ground, and then he will reach for a new one.

EDIT: Im not going to tell you how to do it. Not even if you PM me about it. Just want to bring attention to this so that, maybe, it will be fixed in the next couple of patches.

The biggest thing to avoid are bar-filling mechanics. Many survival games are set up so you just have a bar with a food value, and you simply need to eat every 10 minutes of gametime or something to stay alive.

I think me, and the entire Tarkov community, collectively say: f**k that. If food is just going to be a thing which does nothing but add a pointless menu requirement, we would be better off not having it.

However, food can be implemented in a way which is really cool. Some ideas:

  • When well-fed, the rate of strength gain should increase. In real life, you don't just work out to gain strength, you also eat a bunch of food.

It doesn't make sense that pistols make that much noise when you ads. A modded rifle makes less noice (that touches your body with a stock) when you ads. The only time when a pistol should make any significant noise when you ads is when your arm(s) are blacked and/or when you have a stock mounted on it(like on the aps/apb). otherwise it should be very fluid and quiet considering every factor.

For us that want's to be a sneeki breeki ninja can't really utilize that playstyle unless you mod a rifle/smg. Depression is real
