Quick Look

New Character – Daniel

“It takes a sharp pin to attach a butterfly to a wall”

The Meticulous Artist, Daniel, has arrived!

Daniel will cost 9,900 A-Coin for 2 weeks and he will be available in ranked matches starting from Monday, September 6th 11:00 PM (PT).

Recluse (Passive)

Daniel thrives in the darkness. At night, his vision penalty is reduced by 20/24/28% and his out of combat movement speed is increased by 5/10/15%.

Antipathy: His attack power is increased by 5/10/15 whenever his health is below 60% (Day or Night)

Dusk Shears (Q)

Daniel manifests ghastly scissors in the targeted location, dealing 50/70/90/110/130(+Attack Power 35%) damage and slowing enemies by 35% for 1.5s seconds. Hitting an enemy increases the attack speed of his next 3 basic attacks by 40/80/120/160/200% for 3 seconds.

Hitting an enemy with the middle of the blades deals 85/105/125/145/165(+Attack Power 50%) damage and reduces Daniel’s cooldown of Dusk Shears and Shadow Glide by 35%.

  • Cooldown: : 12s
  • SP Cost : 80/90/100/110/120
  • Range : 8m
  • Effect Radius : Cone shape 3.5m

Inspiration (W)

Daniel marks his target with Growing Inspiration for 7 seconds, granting him 2m of vision around his target, and slowing himself by 30% for 2.5 seconds.

The Growing Inspiration mark reduces the target’s vision range to 4m until damaged by Daniel and stores 12/14/16/18/20% of Daniel’s damage dealt to the target.

After 7 seconds, Daniel becomes Inspired by his target for up to 4 seconds. Damaging the Inspired target consumes the mark, dealing the stored damage, an additional 20/30/40/50/60(+Attack Power 30%) damage, and roots the target for 1 second. Killing an enemy with the damage from the Inspiration mark resets its cooldown.

Daniel becomes uninspired if the target moves 9m away from him.

  • Cooldown: : 15s
  • SP Cost : 80/90/100/110/120
  • Range : 8m

Shadow Glide (E)
Daniel ducks into the shadows and dashes in the targeted direction. His next basic attack within 3 seconds has 2.5m range and teleports him behind his target, dealing 35/55/75/95/115(+Attack Power 25%) damage.

  • Cooldown: 18s
  • SP Cost : 80/90/100/110/120
  • Dash Range : 3.5m

Masterpiece (R)

If Daniel’s target is marked with Growing Inspiration, if he is Inspired by them, or if they are Rooted, Daniel can become their shadow for up to 2 seconds, silencing them for 0.5 seconds. While Daniel is shadowing his target, he deals 60/90/120(+Attack Power 35%) cellular damage up to 4 times.

Upon reaching the max duration or reactivating the skill, Daniel completes his masterpiece and leaves them behind in the targeted direction, dealing 60/120/180(+Attack Power 50%) damage, increasing up to 120/180/360(+Attack Power 100%) based on his target’s missing HP.

  • Cooldown: : 100/80/60s
  • SP Cost : 80/90/100
  • Range : 4m
  • Dash range : 3.5m

System

Replay Open Beta

Previously tested just for partners, replays will now be open to all.

The Replay feature will now be available for testing. We previously held a limited test for partners only, but we’re sure that everyone can benefit from it.

The replay feature still needs a lot of development, we have at least another year of coding and tweaking before it’s fully stable. (So expect bugs for now)

However, we thought that being able to use a replay system that is a bit buggy is better than not being able to use one at all – so we’re going for public testing at a larger scale!

  • Replays for completely finished games can be accessed through the Game ID.
  • Some skill particles or vision may be displayed wrongly during the replay.
  • Special occasions such as Reconnecting or Reviving will probably cause more bugs.
  • Loading a replay of a game from a previous version will probably not work properly. (If the replay fails to load, please exit the game and restart the client.)
  • The Replay Open Beta supports Solo/Duo/Squad and works only for Normal Matches, Ranked Matches, and Custom Matches.

Although the system is far from completion, we hope to push out improvements quickly to provide a smooth experience!

For now, trust me, it’s gonna be buggy.

Wow Force Core! …Now what do I do with it?

  • The Craft(B) Recommended tab is improved to show craftable equipment using special/RNG materials such as Meteorite, Mithril, Force Core etc.
  • We determined that the previous Craft(B) tab was not helpful. We got rid of it.
  • The tab displays Equippable Weapons and Armor and will not display weapons you can’t use.
  • Improvements towards making a freely customizable tab are planned in the future.

Profile Icons

NO MORE QUESTION MARKS!!!!

  • The question mark profile icons that appeared after the Friends feature revamp will now be displayed as your Account Icon.
  • Various Icons are planned to be provided via events or rewards in the future.

Normal Matchmaking Adjustments & Returning Player Matchmaking Improvements

Returning to the game after a long time can be stressful if you miss a lot of changes. We’ve adjusted the matchmaking a bit to help with that.

  • For returning players who have not played the game for 30+ days, normal matches will put you at a lower level.
  • Normal Matchmaking will become faster on some servers.

Changes to Collection Interaction & Collection Time

Stopping unnecessary cancellations of gathering resources like Water or Potato. It ain’t much, but it’s honest work. Also avoiding redundant skirmishes around Meteorites and Tree of Life.

  • Taking Damage when collecting (Water, Potato, Fishing, Stone, Branch, Meteorite, Tree of Life) will no longer cancel the interaction.
  • Crowd Control effects such as Stun, Airborne, Knockback etc. will still cancel the interaction.
  • Collection time for Water, Potato, Fishing, Stone, Branch: 3s -> 2s
  • Collection time for Meteorite, Tree of Life: 7s -> 8s

    • Width 1.4m → 1.2m
    • Range 6m → 6.5m

    • Slow: 25/35/45/55/65% → 25/30/35/40/45%

Weapons

Shuriken Revamp

BIG changes for the Shurikens

  • Caltrop (D) Improvements
    • Caltrops relied heavily on its user’s skill kit for maximum output. If it was possible to force the target to step on multiple caltrops, the skill was too good. For characters without that luxury, it was kinda wack and clunky.
    • To stop the skill from being too overtuned, we moved the damage reduction calculation after Extra Skill Damage calculation, but provided a way to cancel the delay so that it feels more natural when weaving it between your combos.
  • Petal Torrent, Death Rune, Sudarsana
    • Petal Torrent was difficult to craft, but it was craftable without fighting over special materials, allowing you to slam it every game.
    • Shurikens crafted from special materials were not performing well, resulting in an imbalance in other shuriken builds.
    • Petal Torrent’s recipe will now include special materials and other special material weapons will be buffed to balance it out.
  • Extra Skill Damage
    • Skill damage better suits the weapon type compared to basic attacks.
    • We’re removing some of the Extra Basic Attack Damage options and strengthening Extra Skill Damage options that were previously tough to take advantage of due to Caltrops (D).

Shuriken’s revamp is a large change so we will focus on monitoring it carefully after the update. If the results are unexpected, we have our fingers hovering over the hotfix button.

  • Caltrops (D)
    • Damage: 90/170(+Attack Power 30%) → 120/230(+Attack Power 30%)

Patch Notes - Quick Look

New Character - Daniel "It takes a sharp pin to attach a butterfly to a wall."

Antipathy: His attack power is increased by 5/10/15 whenever his health is below 60% (Day or Night).

Hitting an enemy with the middle of the blades deals 85/105/125/145/165(+Attack Power 50%) damage and reduces Daniel's cooldown of Dusk Shears and Shadow Glide by 35%.

  • Cooldown: : 12s

  • SP Cost : 80/90/100/110/120

  • Range : 8m

  • Effect Radius : Cone shape 3.5m

Inspiration (W)
Daniel marks his target with Growing Inspiration for 7 seconds, granting him 2m of vision around his target, and slowing himself by 30% for 2.5 seconds.
The Growing Inspiration mark reduces the target's vision range to 4m until damaged by Daniel and stores 12/14/16/18/20% of Daniel's damage dealt to the target.

If Daniel's target is marked with Growing Inspiration, if he is Inspired by them, or if they are Rooted, Daniel can become their shadow for up to 2 seconds, silencing them for 0.5 seconds. While Daniel is shadowing his target, he deals 60/90/120(+Attack Power 35%) cellular damage up to 4 times.
Upon reaching the max duration or reactivating the skill, Daniel completes his masterpiece and leaves them behind in the targeted direction, dealing 60/120/180(+Attack Power 50%) damage, increasing up to 120/180/360(+Attack Power 100%) based on his target's missing HP.

  • Cooldown: : 100/80/60s

  • SP Cost : 80/90/100

  • Range : 4m

  • Dash range : 3.5m
New Skins & Emotes Wasteland Bernice will be available for purchase.
"Don't overthink. Keep your head down. Survive."

Scarlet Corsage Jackie will be available for purchase on September 7th! (KST)
"A rose by any other name would also have thorns."

Sissela Emotes will be available for purchase!

System Replay Open Beta Previously tested just for partners, replays will now be open to all.
The Replay feature will now be available for testing. We previously held a limited test for partners only, but we're sure that everyone can benefit from it.
The replay feature still needs a lot of development, we have at least another year of coding and tweaking before it's fully stable. (So expect bugs for now)
However, we thought that being able to use a replay system that is a bit buggy is better than not being able to use one at all - so we're going for public testing at a larger scale!

For now, trust me, it's gonna be buggy.

Craft Recommended Tab Improvements Wow Force Core! …Now what do I do with it?

  • The Craft(B) Recommended tab is improved to show craftable equipment using special/RNG materials such as Meteorite, Mithril, Force Core etc.

  • A new mark is displayed on the top left of special materials.

  • We determined that the previous Craft(B) tab was not helpful. We got rid of it.

  • The tab displays Equippable Weapons and Armor and will not display weapons you can't use.

  • Improvements towards making a freely customizable tab are planned in the future.

Profile Icons NO MORE QUESTION MARKS!!!!

  • The question mark profile icons that appeared after the Friends feature revamp will now be displayed as your Account Icon.

  • Various Icons are planned to be provided via events or rewards in the future.

Normal Matchmaking Adjustments & Returning Player Matchmaking Improvements Returning to the game after a long time can be stressful if you miss a lot of changes. We've adjusted the matchmaking a bit to help with that.

  • For returning players who have not played the game for 30+ days, normal matches will put you at a lower level.

  • Normal Matchmaking will become faster on some servers.
Changes to Collection Interaction & Collection Time Stopping unnecessary cancellations of gathering resources like Water or Potato. It ain't much, but it's honest work.

  • Collection time for<span style="color: rgb(255,86,48);"> </span>Water, Potato, Fishing, Stone, Branch: 3s → 2s

  • Collection time for Meteorite, Tree of Life: 7s → 8s

    • A-Coin Cost 8020 → 5290

  • Nadine cost is set to be reduced on September 16th (KST).

  • Timelapse (W)

Improved control and flexibility allowing you to use Duck Dive (E) exactly where you want.

  • Duck Dive (E)

    • Leon will now resurface based on where your mouse cursor is and not in the middle of the pool. If the mouse cursor is outside the pool, Leon will surface to the corner closest to the cursor of the pool .

    • Duck dive can be activated at a pool nearest to the cursor.

    • Width 1.4m → 1.2m

    • Range 6m → 6.5m

Rozzi
Rozzi benefited a lot from the changes in the last patch. We've lowered her skill damage so her enemies have more time to answer.

  • Easy Shot (Q)

Weapons Shuriken Revamp
BIG changes for the Shurikens

  • Caltrop (D) Improvements

    • Caltrops relied heavily on its user's skill kit for maximum output.

    • Petal Torrent's recipe will now include special materials and other special material weapons will be buffed to balance it out.

  • Extra Skill Damage

    • Skill damage better suits the weapon type compared to basic attacks.

    • We're removing some of the Extra Basic Attack Damage options and strengthening Extra Skill Damage options that were previously tough to take advantage of due to Caltrops (D).
Shuriken's revamp is a large change so we will focus on monitoring it carefully after the update. If the results are unexpected, we have our fingers hovering over the hotfix button.

  • Caltrops (D)

    • Damage: 90/170(+Attack Power 30%) → 120/230(+Attack Power 30%)

    • Reduces Extra Skill Damage dealt by 30% for stepping on each additional caltrop.

    • The delay after using Caltrops (D) can be canceled by using another skill.
