Hey guys, Ai here.
We’ve been watching the European server population grow at an exciting rate. In fact, the EU community was able to break through not only Titan, but Immortal (200+ LP) in Ranked Solos for the first time ever!
We want to push for even more consistent pops for both the competitive and casual players.
In this week’s patch, the following changes will be implemented for the EU (Frankfurt) server:
NORMAL:
Duo: 24/7 → Everyday from 6PM to 1AM CEST
Squad: 24/7 → Everyday from 6PM to 1AM CEST
RANKED:
Solo: Everyday from 6PM to 12 AM CEST → 24/7
Duo: Friday thru Sunday from 6PM to 12 AM CEST → Friday thru Sunday from 6PM to 1AM CEST
With the release of Cobalt Protocol, the number of team modes (Normal) players could queue for increased. This naturally spreads the population out over multiple queues, so we’re working to prevent players from staying in excessively long queues during off-peak times.
And to our community who’s been organizing consistent pops for Ranked Duos every Saturday – we see you! To assist this community effort, we plan to limit Ranked Duo queue to specific days and extend it for 1 hour.
We recognize these changes may not be ideal for every player. If there are any concerns, please feel free to be vocal with feedback. We are always open to suggestions – they’re how we get to know what the community wants!
