New Character - Eva


The Mystifying Telekinetic, Eva, has arrived!
Eva will cost 9,900 A-Coin for 2 weeks and she will be available in ranked matches starting from Monday, August 23rd 11:00 PM (PT).


Telekinesis(Passive)
Telekinesis: Starting at level 6, Eva can open boxes and air supplies, fish, collect, and recover downed allies from range. She can not interact with boxes from range during combat.
VF Bead: When Eva lands a skill or is hit by a basic attack, Eva expels a bead of concentrated VF energy towards the enemy, dealing 30/60/90(+Attack Power 35%) damage and slowing targets hit by 20/25/30% for 2 seconds. Landing a VF Bead on an enemy reduces its cooldown by 30% and grants 5 Vital Force. Eva gains 1 Vital Force every 1 seconds, 30 per kill, and 15 per assist.
Vital Force is required when using VF Eruption (R).

  • VF Bead Effect Radius : Circular 1m

Light Triad (Q)
Eva casts an orb of light in the targeted direction, dealing 20/40/60/80/100(+Attack Power 25%) damage to enemies hit. When the orb reaches maximum range or the skill is reactivated, it explodes, dealing 75/115/145/185/225(+Attack Power 55%) damage.
Hitting an enemy with Light Triad grants 10 Vital Force.

  • SP Cost : 75/70/65/60/55

  • Cooldown : 6/5.5/5/4.5/4s

  • Range : 9m

  • Orb Damage Radius : 1.2m

Phase Vortex (W)
Eva forms a Phase Vortex in the targeted location, dealing 50/90/130/170/210(+Attack Power 50%) damage. Enemies inside the vortex take 10/12/14/16/18% extra damage from Eva's skills and are slowed by 40%.
The vortex collapses after 2 seconds, dealing 50/90/130/170/210(+Attack Power 50%) damage and launching enemies in the middle airborne for 1 second.
Hitting an enemy with Phase Vortex grants 10 Vital Force.

  • SP Cost : 80

  • Cooldown : 12

  • Range : 8m

  • Effect Radius : Circular 2m

Amethyst Flow (E)
Eva becomes unstoppable and dashes in the targeted direction, granting her vision of all enemies near her for 3 seconds. Her next basic attack silences her target for 0.1 seconds. Basic attacks immediately remove any extra vision granted from Amethyst Flow.
If Eva lands a basic attack on a target that is affected by one of her crowd control effects, it applies Amethyst Duress, dealing a total of 50/90/130/170/210 over 3 seconds and granting Eva vision of them.

  • SP Cost : 70/80/90/100/110

  • Cooldown : 6/5.5/5/4.5/4s

  • Movement range : 2.5m

  • Travel Time : 0.3s

VF Eruption (R)
Eva releases her stored VF, dealing 20/30/40 true damage and applying a stack of VF Dissonance every 0.1 seconds to enemies in range. Upon reaching 5 stacks, Eva consumes the stacks, dealing 40/70/100(+Attack Power 30%) damage.
A minimum of 15 Vital Force is required to use VF Eruption. VF Eruption consumes 4 Vital Force every 0.1 seconds while channeling.
Using Amethyst Flow while channeling VF Eruption resets the cooldown of VF Eruption.

  • Cooldown : 3s (Not affected by cooldown reduction)

  • Area of Effect : Length 10m, Width 1.6m

System Player/Wild Animal Collision Check Collision Checks are now applied to players and wild animals.

  • Players and wild animals will now move around each other when they overlap.

  • Collision checks may impact the overall feeling of the game, so we're adjusting it to stop overlapping between players and wild animals.

  • Improved situations where wild animals will overlap when attacking them or awkward situations when two melee characters engage in combat.


Info Overlay(F8) Customization You can now change the info overlay to your liking.

  • Combat Info: Weapon Type & Mastery Level

  • Objective Overlay: CCTV, Hyperloop, Revive Terminal info

  • Box: Box & Air Supply Info

  • Wild Animal: Wild Animal Respawn Timer

Remaining Duration for CCTV & CCTV Improvements
Some CCTV spots are being moved/removed. The vision granted from CCTV was proving to be overly advantageous in some places.

  • Info Overlay(F8/Alt) now displays the remaining time on the CCTV.

  • CCTV Vision Range: 10m → 9m

  • Some spots for CCTV have been removed.

    • Alley: Next to the bear behind the restaurant.

    • Temple: Next to Hyperloop

    • Hospital: Intersection between Cemetery & Pond

Crafting Time Change Shortening the time it takes to craft some stuff early.

  • Common Items 1.5s → 1.2s

  • Uncommon Items 1.5s → 1.2s

  • Rare Items 3s → 2s

Quick Craft Priority Change Adjusted the priority of the Quick Craft (Z) order so that frequently crafted items appear at the front.

  • Food has higher priority over Drinks

  • Iron Sheets are now prioritized ahead of Ruby (Iron Sheets > Gold > Ruby)

  • Future improvements are planned to prioritize weapon materials first.
Quick Cast/Normal Cast Separation Usually assigning either Quick Cast/Normal Cast would disable the other option. You can now customize keys to assign them to another key.

  • Currently defaulted as Shift + Q/W/E/R/D and can be changed in settings.

  • Any changes made to default options before the update will be saved.
Team Modes LP Calculation Change

  • LP Gain/Loss based on placement have been slightly lowered.
Emote Preset Feature We're gonna need more emote wheels.

  • A total of 3 Emote sets can be created.

  • Emote sets can be swapped in-game or in the lobby.
Friend Feature - Memos 'Vidify - Toxic. must unfriend'

  • Memos can now be added for each friend - up to 20 characters.

  • Right clicking a friend on the Friends List opens up the popup, double clicking enables whispering.
Character Price Reduction Prices for old characters have been reduced.

  • Prices for Jackie, Aya, Fiora, Magnus, Hyunwoo:

    • NP Cost 1075 → 970

    • A-Coin Cost 8020 → 5290

  • Prices for Zahir are set to be reduced on September 2nd (KST).

Other Improvements

  • The installation range for Cameras will be displayed when not using Quick Cast.

  • A 'Quick Start' option is now added to Practice Mode (nice)

  • Disinfectant & First Aid Kit will no longer drop from Air Supplies.

Nadine is showing good results and high average kills everywhere. We'd like to tone down the power of Skill Amplification / Hybrid Nadine, which is prominent in upper tiers, so we're toning down Bullseye (Q) and limiting the maximum number of squirrel traps to prevent excessive installation.

    • Attack Speed & Movement Speed Slow Duration: 2s → 1.5s

    • (NEW) Max Installation Limit: 4 Sets

    • Improvements: The delay after installing the first trap can now be canceled (Now cancelable with basic attacks or skills)

Xiukai
Enemies really smelled what the Xiu was cooking in all ranks, especially high ranks. We're toning him down a bit to help bring him in line with the rest of the cast.

Mini rework incoming!
Cathy's skill set has resulted in her having a somewhat dull play style, so we improved it!
Double Bypass(Q) is now a skill shot/dash, which gives the opponents room to respond, but enables Cathy to use it as an escape. Stacking Wounded becomes a bit more difficult, but using it well will return greater results.

  • Base Movement Speed 3.2 → 3.15

  • Under the Knife(P)

    • Basic attacks do not apply Wounded. However, Double Bypass(Q)'s passive applies a stack of Wounded for her next basic attack after using a skill.

    • When Cathy damages enemies with a skill, she applies 1 stack of Wounded. Cathy can gain 2 stacks of Wounded when grounding enemies with Amputation(W) or stunning with Suture(E).

    • Under the Knife's Damage: Attack Power 20% every second for 3s → Attack Power 20% every second for 4s

    • Severely Wounded Damage: 3% of Enemy's max HP for 4s (+Attack Power 80%) → 4% of Enemy's max HP (+Attack Power 80%)

    • Post-op : Movement speed increased by 12/15/18% → Movement speed increased towards wounded enemies by 12/16/20%,

Other
Isol and Barbara have high win rates in upper tiers, the changes to Pistol are set to impact Isol as a nerf. We're currently keeping an eye out on Assault Rifle Isol and Barbara due to their low pick rates.
Both characters are set to have some adjustments in the next patch (0.40.0).

  • Isol: MOK Operational Mines can no longer be stacked on one another.

We're changing the cooldown reduction from a fixed cooldown reduction to a percentage reduction and adjusting the pistol weapon type and pistol using characters.

      • (Ex: I have 6 seconds left on my 9 second cooldown skill, it will reduce 45% of the remaining 6 second cooldown)
