[2021] Stargate Trailblazers Event Leaderboard

Hello everyone! This thread will serve as a periodically updated repository for the state of the leaderboards for the Stargate Trailblazers event.

Once the new stargates are activated next month, permanent monument structures will be placed at each end of each new connection. Each of these eight monuments will have the names of the capsuleers and capsuleer corporations that contributed the most to the construction of that particular gate, measured by LP gained from the Mining Expedition sites. Each monument will have a list of the top 10 characters and the top 5 capsuleer corporations for that constellation’s expeditions.

The following list is based on data from the start of the event until just before last midnight (May 31st ~23:59 UTC) and we will update this post occasionally between now and the end of the event at downtime on June 3rd.

I’ve updated the OP now with data that includes all site completions up until just before midnight UTC on May 27th.

I’ve seen a question come up from someone who is on the list multiple times with alts about whether they can choose to only show up on the monument with one of the characters on that list. We are happy for people to have multiple characters on the final list if they want to, but we’re also happy to help people opt-out from appearing with with specific characters if they wish. If anyone wants to have one or more of their characters excluded from the leaderboard please send Evemails to CCP Fozzie from the characters that you wish to be hidden from the final leader list. We’ll help you out. o7

Hi Avio. The scores counted for the monument will include all sites completed up until the event sites disappear at downtime on Thursday June 3rd.

Be aware that the event has been extended from its original planned end date of June 1st to a new end date of June 3rd as a thank you for bearing with us after the first day of the event had a few bugs.

All earned LP from the mining expedition sites during the event.

Yes the scores listed on this page are taken from a snapshot at midnight GMT, not downtime. The final scores used for the monument will include all of the site completions up to downtime on Thursday June 3rd (we’ll publish those results on Friday June 4th).

Good afternoon everyone. The OP has now been updated with the data from last night. o7

Once this event finishes the mining expedition sites will go back into temporary hibernation until the next event that includes them.
The plan is to bring them back regularly for special events. Sometimes they’ll be combined with other content (like the upcoming Gallente Federation Day event where the Federal Mining Expeditions will return alongside other Gallente-themed celebrations) and sometimes they’ll be the centerpiece of events all on their own (I expect we’ll occasionally have special weekends where the mining expeditions appear for all the empires and where we bring back the daily gift boosters).

Good morning folks o/. I’ve updated the OP with the data from last night’s midnight snapshot.

This is not the final update, the data above is from midnight on June 2nd and so there is another 11 hours of the event not covered in these numbers. We will be posting the final standings that will be reflected on the monuments tomorrow once today’s data has been processed into the form I use for this.

The plan is for the existing items to stay in the LP stores, and for us to add new items occasionally over time.

Hi folks! I’ve now updated the OP with the final results now that the event has ended. We’ll take a look at whether we can collect some other fun stats for folks to look at.

Good afternoon folks! I’ve added some extra event stats to the reserved post below the OP for those who are interested.

We have also distributed a special extra prize to the characters who finished within the top 20 for each stargate project: character sheet medals presented by the CEOs of the mining expedition NPC corps. If your character achieved a top 10 finish then you’ll have a special Eminent Stargate Trailblazer Award medal in addition to your name on the monument, and if you finished between 11th and 20th position for one of the stargate projects your character has now received a Distinguished Stargate Trailblazer Award medal.

As we promised, the mining expeditions have already returned within Gallente space for the ongoing Gallente Federation Day event along with some new skins in the Federal Strategic Materiel LP store. The other empires will be bringing their expeditions back for their respective national holidays later in the summer.
