The annual Caldari Union Day event ended this week and this year it included a new competition between the Big 8 Caldari megacorporations. Capsuleers could choose to support any of the megacorps for the event and the points they received as they demonstrated their combat, exploration, mining, and pvp skills were be added together with the other supporters until one megacorp emerged the champion!
The winning megacorp will be honored with a lucrative supplementary security contract to assist with the protection of Jita 4-4 until next year when a new Union Day event will choose another winning megacorp.

Hey folks! The SP that was given out for your partially completed SP bars is delivered in a stack of 25k SP items in your redeeming queue. So for instance @Feral_Noir above has a stack of five 25k SP items for a total of 125k (his 115k rounded up to the nearest 25k).

It’ll count everyone who has logged in since April 5th 2021.
We put that limit on the reimbursement script to constrain the number of characters it would need to iterate over and keep the runtime quick. If someone hasn’t logged in within the last year then missing a small amount of free additional SP is probably not a big deal for them.

Hi Destiny. Thanks for the feedback. I’ve been discussing your post with a few folks internally this morning so I can confirm that it’s something we’re talking and thinking about.
I think ideally the problems you’re running into would be solved by better multiaccount tools (such as a true master account system) but although that’s something I’ve been hoping for for a long time it’s also not something on our short-term roadmap to my knowledge.

I can totally understand why you’re proposing ideas around ways to distribute the rewards without requiring logins, but unfortunately those tend to act at cross-purposes to the goals of this system which is to give everyone a nice little extra excuse to log in daily and help keep players engaged with the game. We’ll keep discussing this, but I don’t want to overpromise.

The regular and event rewards will still be in separate tabs with their own buttons. That’s something I hope we can streamline in the future but we mostly left the event login rewards system alone for this particular set of changes to keep things achievable in our schedule.

Yes we’ll be running a script that pays out the SP for the partially completed SP bars of everyone who has logged in at least once in the last year. (So if you are an omega account with a half filled bar you’ll get 75k SP added to your redeeming queue)

Hello spacefriends! We’re happy to be able to announce that big improvements to the daily gifts system are coming to TQ on April 5th, and you can try them out now on Singularity right now!

We’ve made big changes to the rewards you can get each day, alongside a new refreshed UI and a system that gives you a better idea of what to expect in the coming days.

Rewards:

Let’s start with the part that I know everyone will be asking about, the content of the daily gifts. We have completely overhauled the rewards: replacing the time limited skins with new permanent ones, creating a new set of boosters designed from the ground up to work as daily gifts, moving the skillpoints into the daily rewards directly, and completely removing the blueprint copies from the old system.

Good afternoon folks! I’ve added some extra event stats to the reserved post below the OP for those who are interested.

We have also distributed a special extra prize to the characters who finished within the top 20 for each stargate project: character sheet medals presented by the CEOs of the mining expedition NPC corps. If your character achieved a top 10 finish then you’ll have a special Eminent Stargate Trailblazer Award medal in addition to your name on the monument, and if you finished between 11th and 20th position for one of the stargate projects your character has now received a Distinguished Stargate Trailblazer Award medal.

Good morning folks o/. I’ve updated the OP with the data from last night’s midnight snapshot.

This is not the final update, the data above is from midnight on June 2nd and so there is another 11 hours of the event not covered in these numbers. We will be posting the final standings that will be reflected on the monuments tomorrow once today’s data has been processed into the form I use for this.

Once this event finishes the mining expedition sites will go back into temporary hibernation until the next event that includes them.
The plan is to bring them back regularly for special events. Sometimes they’ll be combined with other content (like the upcoming Gallente Federation Day event where the Federal Mining Expeditions will return alongside other Gallente-themed celebrations) and sometimes they’ll be the centerpiece of events all on their own (I expect we’ll occasionally have special weekends where the mining expeditions appear for all the empires and where we bring back the daily gift boosters).

Yes the scores listed on this page are taken from a snapshot at midnight GMT, not downtime. The final scores used for the monument will include all of the site completions up to downtime on Thursday June 3rd (we’ll publish those results on Friday June 4th).

Be aware that the event has been extended from its original planned end date of June 1st to a new end date of June 3rd as a thank you for bearing with us after the first day of the event had a few bugs.
