262s	game um recently people have been giving
264s	me a little bit of grief when I've been
266s	playing through uh the game uh in Eric
269s	dead previously by playing on normal so
272s	I thought to appease some of those
274s	especially you YouTubers um I thought I
277s	might ramp it up a little bit and give
279s	it a little bit of a a boost so we're
281s	going to be playing on hard but we are
282s	going to be playing uh a new game so
285s	yeah we're going to be starting a new
286s	game all the way through um for those of
289s	you uh that normally uh watch obviously
291s	I normally collect the questions um but
294s	we've got somebody new on the duty this
296s	week who's going to be inputting some
298s	questions that I can answer answer uh as
300s	we go so if you want to please do tag
303s	rfg Lee uh he is the pr director of the
307s	company a lovely fellow indeed so he'll
310s	be um cataloging the questions for me to
313s	take a look at and uh we shall answer
315s	those as soon as we can when we get

711s	when you first interact with a shop you
713s	see you get commodity training uh so uh
715s	Commodities will all have individual
717s	prices depending upon the system and
718s	location they bought or sold their
720s	demand is indicated by the colors red
722s	yellow and
724s	green will they send Commodities from
726s	your cargo hold if the commodity
728s	indicates a high demand you can sell
729s	them at a profit if the commodity has a
731s	low demand commodity isn't ideal for
734s	selling uh when purchasing Commodities
736s	from a station this commodity has a low
737s	demand you can purchase them at a
739s	discount so look out for the greens when
741s	you're buying look out for the greens
742s	when you're selling so anything green is
744s	good when you're selling or buying uh if
746s	the commodity has a high demand the
747s	commodity isn't ideal for purchase yes
751s	indeed
753s	indeed uh and then the commodity info
756s	window shows the total price range
758s	within the DMZ as a line okay so there's
759s	always a variance with the prices um you
763s	could be in a good area for something to
765s	be sold but it could be on the low end
767s	of the price and vice versa
770s	so generally if you're in the green
772s	you're going to make a good profit if
774s	you're in the red don't don't uh you're
776s	not going to make it so there you go by
778s	the way at any point point if you do
779s	want to read through the guing tutorials

786s	read everything that you've seen so you

1775s	they' got a blueprint Z3 if we dismantle
1779s	now we've learned part of the blueprint
1782s	so only part not all but just part of
1784s	the blueprint uh again same with this
1786s	one not going to use it so I'm going to
1787s	get rid of it uh Flack I'm probably not
1790s	going to use it so I'll just dismantle
1792s	it for the blueprint I'll keep holder

1881s	gunship Fanboy as well I do like the
1883s	gunship although the striker has been
1884s	getting some good love for me but I do

1892s	flack it's it is yeah it is I I just
1896s	like the fact that you can run around
1898s	with uh any any form of flak and just
1900s	like obliterate things in such an easy
1903s	Mana uh and even collecting resources
1905s	can be very very handy with it as well

1910s	and even like what we've just taken off
1912s	I do like pulse lasers call me a
1914s	traditionalist I do like pulse lasers
1916s	they're very very handy very very nice
1919s	um and I do find them uh quite quite
1922s	satisfying when they take down the
1923s	shields now we do need to
1926s	be accessing into here

1957s	predominantly team is based in in
1960s	Hamburg right so there is a generator

1981s	honestly it's a bit of a difficult one
1983s	to to answer because we haven't started
1984s	work on any other games or anything we
1986s	are concentrating on ever Space 2 at the
1989s	moment um we're not going to have co-op
1993s	we're not going to have multiplayer uh
1995s	in in everspace 2 um it's not something
1998s	that we're going to be able to achieve I
1999s	know some people will be like very
2000s	disappointed to hear that uh
2002s	unfortunately it would mean that we'd
2004s	have to significantly rewrite the game
2006s	um because we based it solely around
2009s	single player um but we do hear people
2012s	we do hear what people uh desire what
2014s	their suggestions are Etc so
2018s	um you can never say never but I I I'm
2021s	not going to say for definite that it's
2023s	going to be something that happens so um
2025s	we'll have to wait and see but certainly
2028s	we've got more things to come for ever
2030s	Space 2 in terms of the uh another free
2033s	DLC uh in the spring next year and then
2036s	obviously the
2038s	premium expansion which will be coming
2040s	out much later much later right I need
2043s	to hit that don't I
2046s	somehow there we go oh change of
2049s	viewpoint always handy always handy
2052s	right a power core dispenser and I've
2054s	got to get that through

2057s	um uh dark or Dar Mark 59 over on
2062s	YouTube how is your am so direct I feel
2064s	quite sluggish I know you asked another
2066s	question a little bit later on which is
2067s	are you playing on PC uh yes I am I am
2071s	playing on PC um sometimes the
2074s	sensitivity can be uh a thing that plays
2078s	in terms of Aim so direct one other
2080s	thing is as well um we'll just have a
2082s	look in in the settings as
2084s	well
2087s	uh I find it in the right place no it's
2090s	an input keyboard you do have a setting
2094s	here which is autoim and it does affect
2096s	even your PC players so if you
2100s	are thinking oh I'm not hitting very
2102s	well or you finding your accuracy a
2104s	little bit problematic then do look at
2106s	the auto aim strength and it can help
2108s	there's nothing wrong we give these
2109s	options there for players so that if
2111s	they need to use them then they're
2112s	available um so I am a bit more
2115s	practiced I've got hundreds of hours
2117s	playing ever space one and ever Space 2
2119s	and and so I kind of have a kind of flow
2122s	with how it uh aims Etc some people are
2125s	much more accurate than I am
2127s	uh much much more accurate than I am um
2130s	as we'll probably see later on when you
2131s	see the
2132s	video um but yeah that's something that
2135s	can help as well also changing
2136s	sensitivity and the mouse dead zone can

3796s	light you would have Oka frots chasing
3799s	you pushing you on to the next um sector
3804s	uh and it was a bit of a uh oh moment
3806s	and it could get very very painful very
3807s	quickly so um that's the reason they're
3810s	not in the game um of ever space too
3813s	because we're in a kind of different
3814s	time zone u in terms of we're in a very
3818s	um
3819s	noning uh moment you know so there's no
3822s	ow war going on there at the time so
3824s	that's why you don't see the oal frigs
3826s	um they'll be around but they're just
3828s	not there um in terms of where we are in
3831s	the timeline uh Flory 2931 over on
3835s	Twitch what is an ultimate that is a
3837s	very good question uh yes the ultimate
3840s	obviously is a button that you should
3841s	press regularly um especially when it's
3844s	um fully charged because it gets you out
3846s	of certain situations and it stops you

3855s	ship has an ultimate in some shape or
3857s	form we especially Eric and myself has
3861s	been proven we tend to forget that we've

3872s	in the future um overpowered weapons are
3878s	problematic uh if you mean legendaries
3881s	then yes we have said that we will have
3883s	more content along those lines coming uh
3887s	but some people don't find that the
3889s	legendaries are't necessarily the most
3891s	powerful weapons they are a very
3893s	powerful but unique weapon
3895s	but they're not necessarily the best
3897s	weapon overall we have a lot of
3899s	synergies in the game now in terms of
3901s	the item sets which can work better you
3904s	can have star forged items which just
3907s	might be that perfect unique uh weapon
3909s	that you're looking for that could top
3911s	off your play style and build so yes
3914s	there will be uh better weapons coming
3917s	in terms of uh different ones but
3920s	nothing to reveal on that score at the
3923s	moment um we've got a question from Rob

3930s	questions um does the game work with a
3933s	flight stick or is it a controller
3935s	better um so you can use flight
3939s	sticks um it is
3942s	a unique way to play the game um our
3947s	preferred control method is Con uh is
3949s	keyboard and mouse that is the because
3951s	it was designed on PC now you can use a
3954s	controller a game pad Etc that is an
3957s	option uh obviously cuz run consoles now
3960s	um as of August however flight sticks

3966s	um they can take a bit of getting used
3968s	to um I wouldn't want to play the game
3971s	because of the style of it but some

4003s	go to the pause menu and settings um in

4008s	game pad joystick so you can set various

4014s	option to customize controls so if you
4016s	have a specific preset here I'm kind of
4020s	in the way here aren't I yeah typical

4023s	a little bit you can see all these
4024s	different presets that we have so like

4028s	t16000 m is an option hotas W toog Etc
4032s	ET there's there's a variety of ones

4213s	difficulty I find it often um getting
4215s	oneshotted during the main quest is a
4217s	recommended way of handling the higher
4219s	difficulty to be honest with you um as
4222s	you've seen um you may have seen I've
4225s	actually died twice and that was to the
4226s	Mad caps the Mad caps are an absolute
4229s	pest um at lower levels because of the
4232s	mindes that they drop and you take so
4233s	much impact one thing to do is make sure
4237s	to use your devices so if you've got the
4240s	EMP for example and the um teleport or
4244s	anything like that make sure that you
4245s	use those devices you've also got your
4247s	ultimate on your ship so I know people
4249s	are probably going to be like you're
4250s	telling people to use your ultimate and
4252s	you're not using it yourself yeah use
4254s	your ultimate as often as you can also
4256s	if you are finding that things are
4258s	getting too close uh and you're having
4260s	too much happening around you try and
4262s	keep your distance for from enemies it
4264s	can be easier to take them on at range
4266s	and pick your battles if you're finding
4268s	that you're getting
4269s	overwhelmed get out of there if you can
4272s	uh using your Boost however we hit them
4274s	with the EMP and then get out of Dodge
4277s	um so that's probably one thing to to to
4280s	look at also make sure you're looking at
4282s	your weapons and as you kind of get
4285s	higher and higher in the difficulty your

5681s	play style the best it is something that
5684s	we've kind of try to emphasize to people

5688s	come to the ship dealer uh literally
5691s	that point there is that your ship
5693s	doesn't lose value so it's never going
5695s	to be like you're buying a car and it
5697s	devalues your ships don't lose the value
5699s	so when you go back to a ship dealer if
5701s	there's I don't know you might have
5702s	bought a scout and you're not loving the
5704s	Scout and you think oh okay I've got a
5705s	tier 2 scout but there's a tier 2
5707s	gunship there it's going to be virtually
5710s	the same value there's going to be a
5711s	slight little difference but virtually
5713s	the same and it just makes it easier to
5716s	try out the different play Styles so
5718s	obviously a gunship will play
5720s	differently to a scout you know a
5722s	Vindicator will play different to a
5723s	striker so there's always that option
5726s	one thing that I'll say to people as
5727s	well especially when you get to higher
5729s	level and you've probably already done
5730s	it a lot of you I know already have your
5733s	nine different classes of ship which you
5735s	you try but if you're not there at that
5737s	point but you want to try it when you
5739s	get to a ship dealer um such as this and
5742s	you might see a tier four ship probably
5744s	when you you're
5746s	Prescot if you want to the good thing to
5749s	try is make a game save so save your
5752s	game at that point when you're Prescot
5754s	for example at kto save the game and
5757s	then from that point on you swap your
5758s	ship you try out see whatever you like
5761s	if you don't like that specific ship and
5762s	you think I'm just going to trade it in
5764s	you could do that or you could just
5765s	reload your save so there is an option
5767s	to do that so switching that way is
5769s	possible or literally uh just because of
5772s	the value doesn't change um you can just
5774s	swap them out it's entirely up to you so
5776s	you got plenty of options plenty of
5778s	choices um so uh there we go

5786s	addition to there is light and heavy
5787s	ships so yeah I have a little read of

6463s	Steam funny enough and this is from
6465s	alteran over there I did like this shot
6467s	just because of the depth of speed
6469s	obviously we just just just picked up
6471s	the striker which is um very very nice
6475s	uh obviously it's a a very iconic design
6478s	but I did like the uh the depth of field
6481s	uh given the kind of um perception of
6484s	fast speed which the striker is is a
6486s	very fast ship very very very love uh
6489s	lovely B frog has noticed obviously uh
6493s	uh certain um change to our um DMC news
6498s	yes we've got some uh got some things in
6500s	there so yeah very very nice ship uh
6502s	lovely done from alteran over on
6506s	Steam next up we have one from Discord
6509s	this time and it's a new user who's been
6511s	posting some very very cool images and
6514s	this
6515s	one it just to me it I thought it'd look
6518s	like the bottom of the ocean it really
6520s	did it's just so mysterious and it
6522s	seemed to convey a lot of depth a lot of
6525s	lot of depth there uh but um that's from
6529s	Adam GD uh over on our Discord so yeah
6533s	do do check out they've been posting
6534s	quite a few very good work very
6536s	impressive very impressive indeed and

6544s	love XL um wonderful screenshot now this
6548s	one uh just for uh Clarity is from ever
6551s	space one um it is an amazing looking
6553s	game still and it's also on sale we'll

6559s	but yeah he's been uh potentially
6561s	looking and looking and looking for one
6563s	specific shot that he hasn't found yet
6566s	uh in ever space one but still he pulls
6568s	out top draw
6570s	material which uh is showing for us uh
6573s	on Steam and on Discord so uh there we
6576s	go can you can you see that wonderful
6579s	Vista uh a great planet from from ever's
6581s	first one so yeah do um uh do check out
6584s	first one if you haven't already cuz
6585s	it's just as beautiful as the current
6589s	game uh next next up we have winged
6592s	nightmare uh who's been absolutely
6594s	smattering the Discord with great shots
6597s	and this one I loved because of the
6598s	coloration it's not everybody's cup of
6601s	tea you know it's not everybody's cup of
6603s	tea but I think it works in this
6605s	environment it's such a wonderful
6607s	environment the background with the
6608s	different Hues of Blues and purples and
6610s	pinks and everything matching the ship
6612s	perfectly and that's what we love we
6614s	love people that going out there and
6615s	finding those specific areas and then
6617s	matching their ships to um the the
6621s	environment and then taking screenshots
6624s	thoroughly impressive thoroughly
6625s	impressive uh top marks there for uh
6627s	Wing Nightmare and next up pesky husky a
6632s	brilliant shot this one I absolutely
6634s	love it because it just looks like this
6636s	Vanguard is just waving two lightsabers
6639s	around that's all I say it's just two
6641s	two lightsabers two lightsabers great
6643s	work loving it um for uh for the uh for
6648s	the the stylization of it uh contrast in
6651s	the green body and then the red
6653s	absolutely love it absolutely love it
6655s	we'll just answer a couple of questions
6657s	uh in the interim um Lou long over on
6660s	YouTube uh how are ships made um now
6664s	presumably you mean uh how we design
6667s	them uh in the game um in in that's the
6670s	case then obviously we have uh design
6672s	meetings to look at those elements and
6676s	then the concept artist will try and
6679s	bring those ideas to life and then
6681s	they're refined through a process of um
6684s	submissions within the team and then
6686s	designs are pulled apart and then put
6688s	back together and it can take quite a
6690s	long time to do um I I couldn't tell you
6692s	the actual length of time but um it can
6695s	take several months to design uh ships
6698s	uh if not longer uh and then obviously
6700s	once they've gone through concept then
6701s	they need to be built uh within the game
6704s	as well so yeah it can take a long long
6706s	time uh and just to answer your
6708s	follow-up question there is what is is
6710s	the DMZ uh the DMZ is the demilitarize
6713s	zone that is the Zone the buffer between
6716s	the Oar home worlds and basically the um
6720s	the humanoids that came into the area
6722s	and it's a place where you cannot have
6723s	any military it's basically a um an area
6728s	with no military in it whatsoever and
6729s	they don't uh allow people to be um you
6732s	know any military force to be in there
6735s	it's kind of um a buffer zone between
6737s	the two cultures so it's it's very very
6740s	good very very
6742s	good um I see we've got a followup just
6744s	on uh twitch from Pro The Rock do you
6747s	design the ship as a whole or as modular
6749s	Parts um I think it's a bit of both to
6751s	be honest with Pro The Rock I'd have to
6753s	actually ask the concept designers I
6755s	think they'll initially come up with a
6757s	concept overall of a whole and then it
6759s	can be broken up into Parts because
6761s	obviously we have a very modulous system
6763s	uh within the game now obviously the uh
6766s	the wings the engines um the um cockpit
6769s	Etc are all broken up so they have to be
6772s	designed as a whole for the concept and
6774s	then they'll be broken up into parts to
6775s	make them them all
6777s	work there we go right next up great
6780s	shot from pesky by the way is a new uh
6783s	user uh this one is from rat with a gat
6787s	over on Steam hell of a name hell of a
6789s	name but uh by the way this one again it
6791s	reminded me of being underwater uh
6794s	simply because this uh obviously the uh
6797s	the lava field that we've got there and
6799s	then it uh over here where the below the
6801s	ship where you can see the the asteroid
6804s	uh remnants uh it looks like water air
6808s	bubbles coming out from the kind of lava
6810s	like Oxygen's been released and it just
6812s	made it look like it was underwater and
6814s	that's what just attracted me to that
6816s	shot but I thought it was a great shot
6818s	uh and then just you can see the ship
6819s	swooping across the skyline there great
6822s	work uh from uh Rat with a gat lovely
6826s	name great great names and next up and
6829s	this one dropped fairly
6830s	recently uh and this was from kizor over
6834s	on our
6835s	Discord it's it's just a feast for the
6837s	eyes uh so much going on so much action
6839s	you can see the ship you can see you
6841s	know the the lights the engines
6844s	everything about it but it's then
6845s	silhouetted behind against the the lava
6848s	spouts there but then when you look even
6851s	further you can see that there's the
6853s	planet in the in the distance with the
6856s	uh the star of the system just ever so
6859s	slightly PE round uh great shot really
6863s	there's so much going on that you your
6865s	eyes are drawn from kind of left to
6867s	right and then even further into into
6868s	the image but yeah that was a great shot

6882s	it's amazing work uh so yeah very

6961s	love the concept and how he's uh brought

6972s	what's the op ship what would in terms
6977s	of do you mean uh what is considered the
6979s	overpower ship in the
6981s	game if you ask different people you'll
6984s	get a different answer a lot of people
6985s	will say the gunship is very very
6987s	powerful other people will say that the
6989s	almighty ship is um a stinger Striker
6994s	you you'll get all sorts of variety of
6997s	answers I like the uh the gunship as I
6999s	said earlier but it can vary from person
7002s	to person so we'll we'll we'll never
7004s	know uh this shot is from back on Steam

7173s	shop just left home base it's a very
7176s	iconic um scene but then that ship is
7180s	just oozing red just oozing

7466s	was 15 minutes long and that's how long

7471s	however however um it was tough it was
7475s	tough but the reason this is phenomenal
7477s	is that there's a few
7479s	things it's a 1K lunacy Rift okay so
7483s	it's the maximum lunacy that we can

7487s	do the mutators on the road on mines on
7490s	death and jard
7492s	sensors okay nothing too spectacular
7494s	there he's using a stinger Hornet
7499s	C4 with uncommon weapons and equipment
7503s	only with
7505s	Catalyst now you think okay that's tough
7509s	you know give yourself a
7511s	challenge give yourself a challenge
7514s	however did it with no
7516s	Shields and no armor
7520s	so uncommon equipment or weapons no
7523s	shield no
7528s	armor we take a
7536s	look we have all these different gear
7539s	that he's using he's just showing it off
7541s	the resistances ETC he's got there
7544s	different set items you can see there's
7546s	no shield and there's no armor on his
7548s	ship ship either all uncommon sorry
7553s	common common sorry common yes U
7556s	uncommon sorry no it was uncommon I it
7557s	written down wrong sorry yeah uncommon
7559s	so he's got close call Relentless
7561s	exploitation play it safe critical
7563s	faculty and Symphony of Destruction the
7565s	consumables are damage
7567s	boosters and uh the devices are the
7570s	annihilator virus Fusion hook and EMP
7572s	and teleport are frozen it there just so
7573s	you can see that his total settings were
7575s	all set to the max absolutely bonkers
7581s	but it is phenomenal like I say this
7585s	original video was 15 minutes long I've
7588s	edited it down with Jerry's permission
7591s	um to take a look at now he is using it
7593s	in Mandarin Chinese so hence why the
7595s	text has changed uh because that's very
7597s	easy for him uh obviously it's his
7599s	natural language so we'll see various
7601s	Cuts between how uh he's you know
7605s	managing at the start you know his
7606s	resolves okay he's he's getting there
7609s	getting to like 10% you know he's doing
7612s	well using all his devices you can see
7613s	that he's even using the devices already
7616s	um Weber s we stabiliz the missiles and
7618s	then using all his devices and he's
7620s	flying along nicely but you know he's
7622s	using a blaster which is doing the
7624s	damage void swarm as well seems to be
7627s	doing uh some wonderful um damage to the
7631s	required enemies but the skill remember
7634s	there's no shield and there's no armor
7636s	so we're just going to switch to the end
7638s	of the first sector he's at 91% of
7641s	completion the resolve is still high you
7644s	can see he's not struggled this poor
7646s	drone carrier is getting an absolute
7647s	beating absolute beating there he is
7650s	completed got some tears and a m onto
7653s	part
7655s	two so he starts off very very well
7657s	simila now part two he did struggle a
7660s	little bit uh I I don't mean this
7662s	disrespectfully I think it was the
7664s	toughest sector from what I've seen of
7665s	the video um he did get through it quite
7668s	well uh but it was one of his longest
7671s	things uh the enemies weren't playing
7673s	ball they were not playing ball wizard
7675s	Jerry I hope as well at some point you
7677s	could put this um uh your buildup onto
7681s	our Discord if you'd be so kind about
7683s	everything that you put in there and the
7685s	reasons behind it because it is an
7686s	absolute phenomenal so you can see he's
7688s	doing okay 16% through completion
7691s	getting a few hits because of the um
7694s	mines on death um thing that he's got so
7697s	that's going so we're now pushing on to
7699s	the end of sector 2 kicking ass
7702s	absolutely kicking ass as he's going
7704s	through um taking things down taking
7707s	things down but it doesn't all go
7710s	perfectly well it doesn't all go
7712s	perfectly well but he's going there 90
7714s	98% completely is he going to be yeah
7717s	few more hits few more hits I think
7719s	he'll get through this look at these
7722s	resolves though 7% 65 boom just got it

7753s	overall about 15 minutes to do this and
7754s	he tried it several several times it
7756s	wasn't just I can just do that he had to
7758s	practice is he had to get it the
7759s	technique right and you can see he's
7761s	doing a phenomenal job he's down to the
7764s	last lot of three the last lot of three
7768s	so here we are 85% of the way through
7770s	completed on sector

7782s	call he absolutely saved him there you
7787s	can see he's now hasn't got close call
7789s	he's still on that minimal percent of uh
7793s	hole he if he takes one more hit he he's

7804s	good play there wizard Jerry good play
7807s	but yeah he's struggling a little bit
7808s	he's the resoles dropping but the uh the
7811s	completion is at 94 so I think he's
7813s	doing very very good job but yeah wizard

7819s	rest of the team when he posted it and
7821s	they were like how how they were
7826s	thoroughly impressed I mean is is
7827s	exceptional work still at 95% 98 50%

7837s	way um but yeah nearly completed nearly
7840s	completed 32% on the resolve see it's
7843s	tough it's tough looking for targets

7853s	and then just Tiding up a few little
7855s	enemies to try and get some repairs and
7857s	then we're in for probably the easiest
7859s	part for him uh of the whole fight which
7862s	is dealing with this um the boss at the
7865s	end the damage numbers you can see he's
7867s	just loving these damage numbers
7869s	absolutely loving them but uh phenomenal
7872s	absolutely phenomenal work across the
7874s	board there wizard Jerry um he's just
7877s	showing off now by swirling out the away
7879s	from all of the the damage that this uh
7881s	this boss is trying to push out to him
7883s	the Redeemer and he's just not getting
7885s	an absolute hand on him at all but uh
7889s	now that folks you got to remember is
7892s	Wizard Jerry top quality pilot he knows
