Downloaded it and gave it a go, I'm 97% sure that it's just a single-player game faking multiplayer using bots. There's absolutely no latency/ping/rubberbanding AT ALL.
We're working on improving the physics and will hopefully be able to share some insight into specifically what we're working on early next week.
That said, it's literally impossible for an online physics-based game to perform as well as an offline single-player one.
Very much agreed. Pretty sure you need to do these for like a rather short duration (or hey, idea, have that as a playlist only accesible for certain hours during the week for exemple), when people usually aren't at work. Otherwise it'll indeed just be a streamers only event, since they can just play for a lot more hours than anyone else.
Is difficult with timezones though...
I wonder if there's a way to factor in how much time Vs wins/losses.

I get it, but people wanted personal stats more than the weekly top holder, because the majority of the player base doesn't even have 7 wins, do you think they care about the players who have 2k+ wins, each and every one of them are streamers, I don't give a f**k about them, I wanna see my round qualification percentage, each round gold medals, win percentage, etc, there are so many cool statistics to have rather than 'weekly crown league'.
I would LOVE to have it available in the game for everyone when the Devs get a chance to work on that. Until then, I can only tweet a limited number of players. Can't exactly tweet everyone's personal scores unfortunately!

I like the idea of a Weekly Crown League, but it seems like it'll be a function of time played rather than skill right?
Anyone that works 9-5 is automatically eliminated by the top tier streamers which is a bummer. It'd be nice if there was like a 'window', like Most crowns won Saturday 6p-9p or something similar

Why is it that crowns from the season 3 pass count, but not crowns from the season 1 & 2 passes?
Unfortunately, we didn't keep a record of them at the time, nor a record of what level every player got to. So we can't go back and add them on based on everything.

It should not count towards crown rank, that should be strict to wins, it devalues the ranks.
We also have many players who also like that it counts as they are close to getting golden skins, or the next rank, and it helps them in getting there.

Does this count towards the crown rank aswell? So now to calculate wins it is: Crown Rank - season 3 pass - survay crowns - wins from weekend 5 (- amazon prime for some)

An absolute multitude of our players love the mid-season update and it would be wild to think that in three days with no notice we'd suddenly organise this! We just wanted to do something fun, there is no need to scrape for a hidden agenda.
