The team at Respawn have released an update today for the next-gen version of STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order. The following changes are specific to the Xbox Series S|X and PlayStation 5 versions of the game.

Excuse my ignorance and I apologize if this has already been addressed in another thread, but how do I access the new features on PS5? I just purchased a copy from the UK PSN store for a second platinum run on my PS5, but I don't see any performance options or anything like I remember seeing on my PS4 Pro. Is it just automatic? Regardless, this game is every bit as amazing as I remember and I am so excited to revisit it!
The changes are automatic, yes. The patch will automatically give you the described features in these release notes, like 60fps, when playing the game on PS5.
Also, if you already platinum'd the game on PS4 Pro, you will already have those trophies on PS5 since this is a backwards compatible game, not a full on PS5 release.
Very late to this but I’m just wondering if you have to pay for it again to play on ps5 after already getting it for PS4. I have the disc for it so maybe I can put that into the ps5 (when I’m lucky enough to get one of course)
This is a patch to support improvements on the PS5 hardware for the PS4 version of the game through backwards compatibility. So to answer your question more directly, no, you do not need to purchase it again on PS5 if you already own it on PS4.
How do I enable the 60fps and 1200p on PS5? I don't see an option in the Game Settings... Is it automatically applied cause it doesn't seem so.
Correct - It's automatically set to those on PS5.

I’m not sure why you don’t believe me. Are you aware that I work at EA and specifically work in Community for EA STAR WARS titles? I cannot share internal communications with you, so you’ll just have to take my word for it on the patch numbers. Sorry I couldn’t be more help.

Can someone from EA please confirm if v1.0.12.0 is the same as v1.12? The reason I ask is the previous patch was called v1.11, so now I'm thoroughly confused:
Correct, those are the same patch. They just show an extra couple of zeros on Xbox. :)
I’m still stuck at 1.0.12.0 on my Series X. Anyone else in the US having this same issue? I added the game from EA Play.
That number (1.0.12.0) is the patch # on Xbox, so you should have it. :)
Initiated a case with EA support, abut not seeing any updates on XSX. Here was their response:
Yes on Xbox series X there is no update yet available from game team and once there is an update you will automatically get an option to update. You will also get updates related to this here as well https://www.ea.com/games/starwars/jedi-fallen-order/news
And in a follow-up chat, they said it is also not available on Xbox Series S yet! I really don't get the point of yesterday's news release about a next gen update, when it's not available to install on next gen consoles... :(
It is available. The number is slightly different on Xbox and shows 1.0.12.0 if you want to confirm you have it.
I’ve seen some confusion in the thread with regards to the patch number. Here are how the numbers are shown on the consoles when downloading:
PlayStation 5: 1.12
Xbox Series X|S: 1.0.12.0
Can I transfer my save to Ps5 from Ps4?
Yes, your save file transfers. This is a backwards compatible game, so your PS4 save will work when playing on PS5.
What is the version of the game after the update so I can check if it downloaded?
