The Inside the Vault yesterday said they are planning on coming out with another QoL update soon. The way it's written seems that might happen with the December update.

So why not start listing out things.

Allow us to change the color of our pipboy light. Doesn't matter if it's offered in the settings. Or if you put in a quest or a plan or whatever it is, to allow us to do that. I actually think putting in a quest that gives you the ability, and then you need to find the schematics for other colors. Stick it in Vault 51.

Perks

It would be great if our perk loadouts remembered our shared perks. Part of the idea behind loadouts was to make it easier to change out perks. But changing perks at the punch-machine, then having to go in and reshare. It's annoying to always have to take that extra step.

Can our perks stay in the same order as we set them? They seem random every time I go into them. For me, sometimes I go in and make a quick switch on the fly when I'm playing. It would speed things up if not having to look down through the list to find the ones I want to switch. The perks I never want to swap out, would be at the top, and the ones I can switch around at the bottom.

An option to see either account name, or character name in the settings in the world. Or see nothing. For some, it's about immersion.

Lock Items. I've only scrapped or trashed a few items I didn't mean to. But it's a pretty common feature for games. And it would make a lot of players very happy to be able to safeguard some of their favorite items. Because not everything can have a skin put on it.

Better info on weapons Adding a line to weapons letting you know the classification, pistol, rifle, heavy gun. Each weapon belongs to a specific category, so just put that in the weapon info. That way players can easily figure out what perks to use with those weapons.

Fix the build menu's in build mode. There's been a few changes. But honestly it's already become a time consumer scrolling through the options if you've been playing and accumulating stuff for the camps. Here's one example. Why does each season camp scoreboard get it's own line entry in the Wall Décor section? Things that are the same, should always be grouped together.

I get that some people don't realize to scroll right for more options. So fix that by drawing their attention to that. Animate the left and right arrows so they stand out more, so people realize there's more options. But also, that better organizing of items would help. A LOT.

And when you buy something from the Atomic Shop, include what Top Menu section it's in. Also, don't include stuff in the pictures that aren't part of what they are buying. The responder bundle always shows the Responders Survival Tent. It's not part of it, but people think it is. Or if it's an outfit, don't include items that aren't part of the outfit.

Photo Poses. Let us turn on and off what posses we want accessible while in Photomode. Just like we can do with emotes. For me, the see, hear and speak no evil poses are not ones I will use that often, same with the ski poses. As more and more poses get added, it just makes it longer to get to the pose you want.

Speaking of emotes. I'd really like at least one emote option that does the following. I can type in a short phrase, maybe 150-200 characters, that would appear as a word balloon over my characters head. For example, I don't do trades with players I don't know personally. Anything I'm willing to sell, goes into my vending. When offered trades, I just use the No emote. But what I'd really like to let them know, anything I have for trade, is in my vending. But there's no emote for that.

Yeah, people will be crude and bad language. It's pretty common to have a word filter for such things and that if someone uses a word that isn't acceptable, they get a message telling them what word isn't allowed.

I've got more on my list. But I'm guessing a lot of them are the same as other people, so I open the floor for people to talk about the QoL that are important to them.

It will double the duration of the +5 INT from 5 to 10 minutes, but the enemy highlighting shuts off at 6 minutes...
