Our latest update for Fallout 76 launches today, and it's bringing a host of bug fixes, gameplay improvements, and more. Read on for a full list of patch notes for today's update.

We’re releasing Update 22 today, which includes new features like One Wasteland, Daily Ops, Legendary Perks, and the start of our second Fallout 76 Season. This update also brings a number of additional improvements and bug fixes to the game, so be sure to read on to catch the patch notes.

  • One Wasteland: Creature levels now adjust dynamically to more closely match character levels, so you can adventure anywhere in Appalachia, whether alone or with your friends!

We’re releasing Update 21 today, which includes the new Fortifying ATLAS community challenges, the Meat Weak Seasonal Event, and our new event “A Colossal Problem” in the coming weeks. This update also brings a number of additional improvements and bug fixes to Fallout 76, so be sure to read on to catch the patch notes.


Update 21 Highlights

  • Fortifying ATLAS: Starting today, join the community in delivering construction supplies to ATLAS Observatory to help unlock events and new cosmetic rewards for everyone.
  • A Colossal Problem: In the coming weeks, you will be able to team up with other Dwellers to take on deadly beasts deep within Monongah Mine in this challenging new Public Event.
  • Meat Week: The biggest Meat Cook in all of Appalachia kicks off August 18 with the return of the Meat Week Seasonal Event.

We’re releasing Update 20 today, which kicks off The Legendary Run, the first Season in our new progression and reward system. It also includes Public Teams, a new social system that makes teaming up easier and more beneficial than ever. We’re releasing Update 19 for Fallout 76 today, which introduces Ally Customization, includes new and returning events, updates for automatic item naming, backpack skin improvements, and new limited-time Nuclear Winter Challenges and cosmetic rewards. We’ve also addressed a wide variety of bugs, including many issues reported by the community.

  • Ally Customization: Give your Allies stylish new looks by sharing your wardrobe with them using the new option to customize their outfits.
  • Hunt for the Treasure Hunter: Mole Miners have discovered treasure in the Ash Heap! Starting May 21, hunt them down to claim their loot for yourself during a new limited-time event.
  • Fasnacht Parade: By popular demand, this Seasonal Event is returning for a full week starting May 25, and there are plenty of new Fasnacht Masks up for grabs.

Patch 7.5 releases today, and introduces the Survival Mode Beta to Fallout 76, which is a new game mode featuring fewer restrictions and higher-stakes for Player vs. Player (PVP) combat, Scoreboards for tracking your stats, a bonus on all XP you earn, and Legendary item rewards for new Weekly Challenges. We’ve also renamed the standard Fallout 76 experience “Adventure Mode” and have removed incoming damage from players you are not hostile against.

Welcome to Wild Appalachia! Patch 7 introduces the first of many new content updates to come, including a questline, a pair of daily quests, and a crafting system. We’re releasing Patch 6 today, which includes an increase to stash size, balance and design changes, and another large wave of bug fixes, many of which were reported by players in the Fallout 76 community.
