I've had a large personal house for the past year or so; I saved up the gil over about 2 years of playing.

I entered the house more or less every day or so and never received a demolition notice, the last time I entered the house was actually yesterday. After coming back from work today and logging in to my house plot, to my shock and horror, I found someone else's house there.

I checked the housing npc and found that demolition money (30% or something) and my furniture were there - so it seems that the house was demolished. My FC recommended that I post this to Reddit.

It's nice that I got some of the gil and my furniture back... but is there a way for a GM to add me back to a large house plot?

I can't think of anything that would have caused this demolition...

If relevant, I use the phone One-Time-Password app so I don't think that I was hacked.

As a house owner myself, the sudden influx of 'my house was demolished outside of demolition criteria' posts is extremely alarming. Is there something specific triggering this or is it just happening at random? I mean, my house is only a medium, but I've had it for years- and my FC has a large that I've personally put a ton of time and love into. Losing -either- would probably kill any/all enthusiasm I have to play this game, and it's clearly not a one-off glitch.

This does need to be brought up on the OF, though - I think it'll at least get more attention and awareness there.

I am indeed still around - there just haven't been a great many reasons to post lately (you guys help each other a lot, which is great to see).

I'll read up on this issue and then forward the feedback, so please keep it coming! And the advice is correct - if you can bring your issues to the official forums, then please do.

Could you please get in touch with our support center? They are able to look into this and escalate to the right places if necessary.

Generally speaking, house demolition should never happen without any warning - you should get several emails warning you of any imminent action being taken. Given that you've said you entered your house regulary, even just the day before, we'll need someone to look into that. Please be as detailed as possible in your support ticket.
