Just to clarify - the outfits will be displayed on in-game models. It's a bit hard to get a hold of Roegadyn, Lalafell etc. in real life :)

Ya they do have one, u/SE_Kahuna, he usually lurks but he'll most likely tell you to open up a ticket with support and to post on OF since this is out of his area. But I'll give him a ring so he knows that this is still happening, he did drop by another thread about the same issue last month.
You pretty much nailed it - I've already had this on the radar yesterday. A GM ticket is the most important thing here.

Given that you've said you entered your house regulary, even just the day before, we'll need someone to look into that. Please be as detailed as possible in your support ticket.

I did so and despite saying in the ticket that I have screenshot proof of me being in the house a while ago, that I know I won't get my house back and that I merely wish to confirm whether this was a bug or not, they have given me a very standardised response: https://imgur.com/a/XA6pt5O
I still have an in-game support ticket open to see if I can get anything more tangential, but the support has been somewhat unhelpful.

Is /u/SE_Kahuna still around? As far as I'm aware, they're the only representative from SE that has actually ever posted here. I would like to see something about this over on the official forums, but as I know a good many of the reddit community can't post there, maybe if Kahuna is still around they can pass on a message or something?
As a house owner myself, the sudden influx of 'my house was demolished outside of demolition criteria' posts is extremely alarming. Is there something specific triggering this or is it just happening at random? I mean, my house is only a medium, but I've had it for years- and my FC has a large that I've personally put a ton of time and love into. Losing -either- would probably kill any/all enthusiasm I have to play this game, and it's clearly not a one-off glitch.
This does need to be brought up on the OF, though - I think it'll at least get more attention and awareness there.

I'm trying to renew my subscription but I can't. Tried to renew using Steam Payment and on the very last part (authorizing Steam) I got back to Mog Station with a message that "an error has occured". Tried to add Crysta and now the error (trying to buy crysta or renew using Steam Payment) is Error i2501. Contacted support, contacted u/SE_Kahuna and now I'm waiting.
I think I got 3 times Error i2501. My question is: if I don't get any answer, should I try again tomorrow and see if it works?

I get contacted about this error every now and then by multiple people, so just to clarify - the only time when I can poke someone in any way or form is if I suspect that a mistake of some kind has been made on our end. I can generally not intervene before the support process has run its due course. I hope the problem gets resolved for you!
Obviously we can't provide support for third party issues, but NVIDIA recently announced that they would stop supporting 32-bit versions of Windows, which may have something to do with it. As /u/vlorsutes suggested, it might be a good idea to look for the last working version of the driver. Hope that works out for you!

This already looked spectacular on stage at gamescom during the cosplay contest (again, congratulations!), but the setting really adds another dimension to it. Can't wait to see your next creation at gamescom next year!

While I dig the art style, the WAR-dragora worries me a little. We may need to have a word with the Alchemists' Guild about steroids...
As a general guideline, you usually don't need a guide to get you started with the game. If you have never before brought a class up through the levels, I would advise against a skip potion, and simply play your chosen class/job to max level.
FFXIV goes great lengths to teach you gameplay and your chosen job. You'll start out slow and the game takes you by the hand, especially at the beginning. There are also Guildhests, which are trials that show you the basics of group play, and there is the Hall of the Novice, where you can learn anything you need to know about a job.
As others have mentioned, if you want to make your character look pretty, there's the glamour system for that - you can exchange the appearance of most items you're wearing with all other items of the same class that you could theoretically wear. Also, a lot of equipment can be dyed with a huge number of dyes and metallic dyes.
How long it would take depends entirely on your play style.
