[2022] Cross-platform invites

When will we be finally able to invite people on other platforms to group up with? I have multiple friends on different platforms that play, we already play with others on different platforms, why cross platform was implemented without the function to invite others on different platforms seems like laziness or just very poor planning. Could we remedy this in a somewhat timely manner please?

Hello @DI49LO1995,

An announcement was made in September in regards to Crossplay Phase 2 which can be viewed here.

As noted - Phase 2 is planned to launch on October 20th, so only a couple days to go.

As for why the Crossplay release was split - please refer to the original posting of the team's plans here.
