hey, recently reinstalled for honor but am unable to launch he game. instead it gives me two errors, the first saying "unable to detect uplay installation. Please make sure Uplay is installed" and the second being "untrusted system file (c /windows/system32/uxtheme.dll)".
Have already tried verifying file integrity, repairing easy anti-cheat for for honor, and re-reinstalling the game and uplay launcher.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Hi JungTonight,

Thank you for reporting that to us, we're sorry to hear this has been occurring for you.

Please try launching Uplay, the game, and Steam if you are using it, as Administration via the steps here.

We would also advise that you try from a different Windows account on your PC, you can set one up via the steps here.

Hi jung,

It is different than just launching it from an Admin account, yes.

It gives the program admin rights, which allows it to bypass certain restrictions that might be in place based on settings on your PC. For trusted programs this is very low risk.

Hey there, please don't necro old threads. You are welcome to create your own!

Try reinstalling Ubisoft Connect from a fresh installation file rather than Steam/the game. Feel free to create a thread if the issue persists!
