Hello,
recently my game has started freezing for a few seconds whenever I try to get on a ballista in Breach or if I try to start spectating teammate using one. Ballistas in Dominion work fine. The first time it happened it actually crashed my game, but it's been only freezing since. It gets stuck in the middle of the animation of getting on it when I try to use it. I've tried verifying game files, didn't help much. I've seen another person post about the issue on Reddit about 2 weeks ago, so I think it may have appeared with the launch of Pirate. The freezes cause me to get kicked from the game, and it most often happens in the last phase of Breach, making me miss out on quite a lot of XP.

Hey there @Kartossen and @Marellius, thank you both for taking the time to report this. I am sorry to hear that you have been experiencing crashes when operating a ballista. I want to assure you that our development team is aware of this, and that this issue is currently under investigation.

To help assist in our investigation, could you please elaborate further and share some further information?:

  1. Is the game disconnecting you from the match and sending you back into matchmaking, or is it crashing to your desktop entirely?
  2. Have you received any error messages? If so, what exactly does the error message/s state?
  3. If you crash, what does the crash look like? (for example, do you receive a black screen crash to the desktop? Does it freeze and then automatically close? etc..)


Additionally, it would be greatly appreciated if anyone experiencing this issue could reach out through our support website and create a case. If you do this, could you please also upload a video of the crash or freeze? These reports will greatly assist with our ongoing investigations.

We are continually monitoring the issue from our side and as soon as further information can be shared, we will post below and update you. Thank you.
