I'm new to the forum to report recent problems with the patch but first a quick comment on the forum layout, it took me a full 10 minutes to make a forum post because the visual design is so confusing weird. Ubisoft pls fix this layout. Also haven't found the troubleshooting section if there is one why isnt that listed as one of the main forum sections?

I ran FH a couple of months ago on the following machine (a laptop)
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10510U
Geforce MX250
2400mhz 8gb RAM
and it ran just fine, no stuttering or other issues.

Took a break playing FH now the game stutters literally every couple of seconds. What's interesting is that the FPS Counter never lowers, it's a constant 40-60 fps varying merely on how much detail is on the screen which never caused issues before, when the stuttering occurs the fps counter never lowers to 10 or 15 or so.

I tried changing the graphics settings to every possible combination and it doesnt fix the stuttering. Running as admin, compatibility modes, fullscreen optimizations deactivated also doesnt fix the issue. Changing process priority or number of CPU cores used is not possible because of the EAC which prevents access to the FH executable via the task manager

Any way to fix the stuttering?

Hey there @Arkturus_ ,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

We don't have a Troubleshooting section, but we do have Player Support, where your thread has been moved.

Looking at your specs, I'm afraid your GeForce MX250 falls below the minimum system requirements for the game, which calls for a GTX 950 or better.

Some steps that may improve performance somewhat include, those listed in our PC troubleshooting guide and ensuring your laptop is using it's dedicated GPU rather than any onboard graphics.

As your system is under spec however, we're limited in how we can assist beyond the above.

Apologies for any disappointment caused and if there's anything more we can answer, please let us know!

Hey @Arkturus_ ,

There's never any guarantee a game will / won't run on certain hardware, so we cannot confirm why it may have worked previously, however as your system is under spec, there's little we can do beyond the troubleshooting steps provided to improve performance.

As updates are pushed, under spec machines that may have worked previously, may struggle with newer builds of the game. But as they're under spec to begin with, I'm afriad we cannot guarantee compatibility.

If there's anything further we can answer, please let us know!
