This is a bit complicating but i will try my best to explain. I own the starter edition of for honor. It costs around 8000 credits to unlock one character which takes hours to complete. However, the starter has been discontinued for a while now. I had paid 20$ for that starter edition. Later on when the starter edtion was removed, the standard version game was dropped to 20$ and the game was given out for free for a small period of time. My question is why was there no update for those on starter to standard after the discontinuation?
Rainbow six siege had the exact same system and those who owned the starter edition were upgraded to the standard edition. (the price was also lowered to 20$ just like in for honor). How is this fair?
Here is the ubisoft announcement:
"The Starter Edition was a specific edition of the game, designed as an entry point for new players.
This edition HAS NOW BEEN DISCONTINUED and players who previously owned it, have been upgraded to the TOM CLANCY'S RAINBOW SIX: SIEGE BASE GAME. Any progression (credits, renown, unlocked operators) will be carried over to the updated base game - Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege."
