i just bought the Medjay dlc on steam because it wouldnt load ubisoft website and i still cant play the character. ive already checked downloaded content and its downloaded so i dont know what to do from here.

You need to purchase additional content on the same platform you purchased the game on, so if you own the game on Ubisoft Connect, you can't buy the content on Steam as it won't be compatible.
@Hoolsyy Do you also have the game through Ubisoft Connect?
