I log in to For Honor today to find, balefully, that my customizations for Warmonger are entirely defunct, my breastplate is unpainted and showing bare silver. I was using the rose pattern from the Esoterika of Horkos outfit, but it was nowhere to be found in the pattern selections. I equipped the Esoterika of Horkos outfit on my Warmonger, pleased to remember that the rose pattern is where I want it - front and back of my breastplate, I remove the patterns and symbols from the rest of my armor manually, and re-equip my other customizations.
I wonder what else could have changed. Gratefully, I note that my Gladiator still has all of her customizations equipped, but then I scroll over to my Black Prior - she had been equipped with Samurai-themed patterns I'd earned in previous seasons of For Honor, so I go through to look for them and - to my deepest chagrin - they're fully absent. They weren't part of an Outfit, so I had no possible means of repainting my armor how I wished.
What happened, over this update? Did someone consciously make the horrid decision to limit players' customization options? Was old content that people still enjoyed deleted accidentally?
Give me my customizations back.
