[2019] Creative memory bug?

Prior to todays update the memory of my Block submission was just about 49,900, just under their requirement of staying below 50,000. I had to sacrifice various ideas in order to stay below the cap. However, I just loaded into my island for the first time since the update and the memory is now at 52,788 despite the fact that I obviously haven’t changed the map at all. I’m not sure if the 50k memory cap is a live or die requirement for submissions, but it bugs me to think that it could automatically be a deciding factor in being declined despite the fact that I did actually stay under. I’d have to make some major subtractions and sacrifice quality to chop off almost 3,000 memory if I was to get under the cap again.

Anyone else notice significant memory randomly get added to your island?
