[2019] controller build bug

So me and my friends have been playing lots of creative mode death-matches / zone wars / turtle wars and for some reason there seems to be bug not allowing me and other controller players to switch to builder mode on the first tap of the button. It causes inconsistency and so much frustration to where creative is not fun anymore. I would really appreciate the dev team to look into this and try to fix it as soon as possible because me and friends would really love to play games again without being interrupted :)

Im sure other players have fallen victim to this so hopefully epic is aware of it.
