Upgraded Devices Deadline Approaching!
A reminder that all islands made with Fortnite Creative will transition to v2 Devices in our next update, v26.30. Please try the V2 devices and report any issues in this forum thread.
Coming Soon: Unified Memory Calculation
Accompanying upgraded devices in the v26.30 update, your island will use a new memory calculation method that affects the memory cost of individual Prefabs and devices. Please see the blog for more information about this upcoming change.
Along with the Fortnite Ecosystem Matchmaking upgrade, this update brings in the new Photo Capture Mode, enabling creators to take photos of their islands and use them as custom lobby backgrounds! Custom lobby backgrounds will be coming in the v26.30 update.
You’ll also see the new Fang Spawner, allowing creators to add the powerful Fang vehicles from the Last Resort season of Battle Royale. The Automated Turret from Strongholds also makes an appearance, with lots of customization options.
