Hey there!
Ever wanted to know how to publish your Fortnite Creative island to the world? Below you’ll find a guide on how to join the Support-A-Creator program and publish your island creations built in Fortnite Creative.
Did you know?
Creators have the opportunity to both publish their islands for the world to see and earn money from their creations via the Support-A-Creator program!
First, you will need to make sure that you meet all of the eligibility requirements for the Support-A-Creator program. These requirements include the following:
- You must be at least 13 years old, or at least 14 years old if you are a resident of South Korea.
- You must be capable of accepting the Creator Agreement.
- You must be capable of abiding by our Creator Content Guidelines.
- You must be capable of receiving payment using our designated payment platform, currently Hyperwallet.
Additionally, Creators who previously violated the Creator Agreement and were removed from the program are not eligible to reapply or be reinstated. The program is also not open to individuals in China or wherever restricted or prohibited by applicable law or in any country disallowed by U.S. law. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, individuals in the Crimea region, Cuba, Eritrea, Guinea-Bissau, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Myanmar (Burma), North Korea, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Zimbabwe are ineligible to participate at this time.
If you don’t have a social account with a 1000 followers start with the following:
After reading the Support-a-Creator details here, I realized I don’t meet the follower minimum (1000) social media requirement. Can I still apply?
Yes! The first thing to do is to head over to this form, fill out the necessary information, and then hit Submit. After we have reviewed your form you’ll receive an email from Epic Games approving or denying your application. The email will include instructions on next steps if you are approved.
You may be a passionate creator, but don’t have a huge social media following and we’d like to ensure as many Creators as possible can sign up. We will waive the 1000 follower requirement as long as your Fortnite account is in good standing and you are an active creator.
If you do have a social account with a 1000 followers follow these steps:
If you meet the eligibility requirements listed above you can head over to the Support-A-Creator website to begin the application process.

CREATIVE ISLAND FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is Support-A-Creator?
Support-A-Creator is a program where Creators can earn money from making games and experiences in Fortnite Creative by sharing a unique code with other players. For more details on the earning process, please see below or visit the Support-A-Creator website.
What is a Support-A-Creator code?
A Creator’s unique Support-A-Creator code is generated from the username a Creator chooses when creating their account. In the future, if you want to change it, you can submit a request to Player Support to change this code.
How does it work?
When a Creator’s Support-A-Creator code is entered by players during purchases (inside the Fortnite game or on the Epic Games Store at checkout), a percentage of those purchases are attributed to that chosen Creator.
A Fortnite example: If a Creator’s in-game supporters spend 50,000 V-Bucks in-game, then that Creator would earn $25 USD. An Epic Games Store example: if a Creator’s supporters purchase $100 USD of games, that Creator will earn $5 USD (at the base Epic-funded rate).
Please note, however: no compensation is earned or credited to a Creator under this program unless the Creator earns $100 USD or more within a 12-consecutive month period. This means that if a Creator does not meet the $100 USD compensation threshold within a period of 12 consecutive months, any attributed purchases and/or redemptions made by supporters during that 12-month period will reset to zero.
If a player is enjoying a game within Fortnite Creative, it's very easy for that player to quickly select the Creator who made that game as the Creator they wish to support. For more details, please visit the Support-A-Creator website.
Do I have to join the Support-A-Creator program in order to publish my island??
Yes, we’re currently only enabling island publishing for Creators that are a part of our Support-A-Creator program. That means in addition to the community guidelines, there are additional guidelines you must follow when creating content.
Why do you need a national ID number/SSN/Tax ID and how will the account receive payment?
We need the applicant’s national ID number/SSN/Tax ID in order to confirm identity and comply with applicable tax reporting obligations. By submitting your tax ID you consent to our use of your information to check your identity and comply with any laws applying to the program. The adult account holder will receive an email to set up a Hyperwallet account to receive any earnings from your Support-A-Creator code.
