[2019] Possible Issue with the new storm device

When using the storm device in creative I’ve noticed an issue during games where me and other party mates will experience a delay when trying to pull out builds,swap weapons, or basically any controller input. There infrequent, but happen just enough for it to get annoying. I’m on PS4 and unfortunately don’t have a way of uploading footage to show me having to press my build button twice before the game registers it. Has anyone experienced anything similar? It only seems to be happening on maps that utilize the new storm function.
