Yeah i have no clue how this post is gonna go but its happening. And I have some tea to spill.

I don't think Epic should pay much attention to the Save The World streamers and youtubers. People like: DemonJoeFrance, RoundedTiktak, Isherwood, Chedic, TeamVash, etc.

Why? Because they're in it for the money. They are sellouts of varying degrees.

And I mean hey, that's fine. You don't see me putting food in their families mouths. You gotta hustle to survive.

But when it comes to the game itself? I don't really give a damn about their opinion. Maybe a little bit but not when I play this game day in and day out for free and have my own opinions about it. I'm playing Fortnite for the love of the game, not for G-Fuel sponsorships and Twitch subscriptions.

And I'm not alone. There are many people who play this game just for the fun factor. And our voices are not being heard.

I mean how can you get an honest critique of the game from someone who is paid to play it? u/Magyst pops into their streams and you'd think the king of England just showed up.

That is why Reddit is necessary. Because when you cut through all the BS there are people here willing to tell it like it is. And what it is, isn't good.

I consider some of the people listed above as friends. And I feel bad trashing them like this... but they're not game devs, or even beta testers. They're dancing monkeys putting on a show. They are entertainers, not visonarys. And it's an important distinction to make.

Basically everything i've said here applies to BR and it's community as well.

In short, streamers and youtubers have different priorities than the average player.

While I understand the misconception.. Content Creators are not the only players that we gather feedback from. I frequently visit streams for multiple reasons.. gathering feedback, seeing how players are playing the game, and because I enjoy watching player streams. I also bounce between streams.. not just who you've mentioned above. Someone who has 3 viewers has just as much importance to me as someone who has 200.

Regarding reddit.. I spend a lot of time browsing through all of the feedback provided in both post, comments, and DMs even if I don't respond. I gather feedback from multiple sources, multiple players, across all platforms. Please keep in mind that there is no guarantee that feedback left on reddit will be implemented into the game, even if it's an awesome idea.

I get messages from A LOT of players on discord. I do not pick and choose who I respond to based on status and my DM's across reddit / discord are always open to anyone. But please understand that I can't respond to everyone.
