Fortnitemares is just hours away!

To prepare for the Fortnitemares update (v14.40), we have begun to disable services as we near downtime. If you’re currently in a session, you can continue to play until downtime starts at approx. 4 AM ET (08:00 UTC).

As a reminder, the patch size will be larger than normal on PC (approx. 27 GB). This is to make optimizations on PC resulting in a massively reduced Fortnite file size (over 60 GB smaller), smaller downloads for future patches, and improved loading performance.

We’ll provide an update here when downtime has ended and services are back up.
