as you know Battle Royale PvP got a completely new PVE mode, hmm?
i think there was a confusion and they added it to Battle royale PVP instead of adding it to Save the World.
and they got a new Explosive weapon that the community obviously doesn't like. If Battle royale doesn't want it, please give it to Save the World. we appreciate every little thing you give to us because we usually get nothing compared to PvP Battle royale.

Much like Beta Storms in STW.. LTMs give the BR dev team flexibility on new types of gameplay. LTMs (and Beta Storms) are ever changing and allows us to temporarily test new ideas in each game mode. There was some great reception around the Deimos fiends and the team wanted to use them again in some way.
You never know what type of LTM or Beta Storm will appear as we're always discussing new ideas.

99% of the BR community hates them.
Regardless, they are in a completely new LTM now that you have the option to or not to play without it impacting the main mode.
