[2022] v19.20 Update - Now Live

Downtime for v19.20 has ended. Here’s a summary of what’s new:

A new high-tech POI arrives in the form of Covert Cavern! Covert Cavern is also home to the new Mythic version of the Stinger SMG, but don’t expect it to be easy to obtain…

Also back on the island is an updated version of the Heavy Shotgun, now with a longer range and a single slug.

Lastly, with this update, you can begin unlocking all the masks of Chapter 3 Season 1 Battle Pass Outfit Haven!

Downtime for update v19.20 has ended. This update brings a new weapon directly into competitive playlists: The Heavy Shotgun has been unvaulted in a refashioned form for Chapter 3. It’s now single slug, longer-range, and requires more accuracy. Exceptionally reliable and consistent, break out the Heavy for closing the gap or responding to an incoming threat!

Deep inside the mountains north of Camp Cuddle, a high-tech new POI has appeared: Covert Cavern. Navigate its central waterway and harvest materials from its many facilities. Please note that the Mythic Stinger SMG will not be available in competitive playlists.

As our heads-up stated last week, Spider-Man’s Web-Shooters now have 20 shots instead of 80 in competitive playlists. This lower count is to encourage more strategic decisions about when to use the item, while retaining the item’s usefulness as a powerful mobility tool.
